1. The Valley of the Moon is a valley in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, in the Atacama Desert, in northern Chile. We will also visit the Amphitheater, Duna Mayor, 3 Marías and the Ckari Viewpoint - Piedra del Coyote 2. There is a walk to climb the largest dune, approx. 800mts....it is a central point from where you have a panoramic view and we will appreciate the Andes Mountains, amphitheater, salt mountain range, etc. 3.General view of part of the Salar de Atacama, Domeyko mountain range, Cordillera de la Sal, Cordillera de los Andes, where the sunset is expected. 5.00We did the pack of 5 tours in 3 days my friend and I and it was excellent. From the agency we were provided with all the necessary information and before each tour we were sent the specific information we needed. The experience was great and every day we had an amazing breakfast. The guides are very friendly, they are always waiting to take pictures and explain many interesting facts. Yes, we recommend paying the tickets that go directly to the agency when you arrive together, since you forget to manage it yourself. In summary, we recommend Whipala 1000% to see everything you need in Atacama.

5.00What an amazing time in San pedro de atacama with wonderful landscapes in a desert that has so many faces to offer! Everything was perfectly organised. Alex was our guide for 3 tours. His kindness, knowledge and many explanations made these days unforgettable ! He also prepared us an excellent breakfast in the wild nature!! Don't hesitate.. you will not regret it!!!

5.00I hired pack of 5 tours in 3 days and it was great, at a very good price. I especially highlight the guides Alex and Daniel, who took us to the Rainbow Valley, Geisers del Tatio and Lagunas Altiplánicas. All tours are amazing and unmissable experiences if you are going to spend about 5 days in San Pedro de Atacama. The breakfasts and lunch very rich and restocking!!

5.00Atacama desert is worth visiting by far. Indisputable a challenging place due to its climate, but among the most interesting and fascinating in the whole world. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their function and went above and beyond their scope to care for us being insuperable ambassadors.

4.00The guides were all informative, fun, caring. Had the best breakfasts in the mountain, though the tatio one could be at a less windy place? The valle de la luna tour i stayed at the far back so couldn't hear anything the guide was saying (also because he was driving at the same time) while the young assistant insisted she shall sit in front (honestly doing nothing). The free of charge view on our way to the moon is better than inside.

5.00I chose package of three tours: Valle de la Luna, Laguna Cejar and Geysers del Tatio. Each excursion was different and all were worth a visit. There's a lot of agencies in San Pedro de Atacama and most of them offer those trips. Whipala Expedtion has great reviews and they offer those three tours as a package in a special price (+ I got 10% discount). Valle de la Luna truly offers lunar scenery and watching the sunset over the valley is one of the most popular attractions. There's no need to bring warm clothes (at least not in January), just bring windproof jacket. A trip to Laguna Cejar not only gives you the opportunity to see a completely different scenery, but also a unique opportunity to swim (or rather be floated) in the lagoon. Additionally, I was positively surprised by the number of snacks and drinks offered. On both trips our guide was Ernesto (Viva Cuba Libre!), who does an excellent job. We went to Geysers del Tatio with another guide, whose name I don't remember, but he also was great. I liked the organization - the day before the guide contacted me to arrange the exact time of pick-up and the next day he was on time. The heavenly views are worth getting up in the middle of the night and on the way back we stopped at several interesting places. Here I was also very positively surprised by the meal offered - the breakfast was very tasty. It is worth following the agency's advice and taking very warm clothes (in January the temperature was around zero).
