  It was really one of the best shore excursions that we did! We were picked up by João, on time and in a very comfortable 4x4 vehicle. He made sure that everybody had a good time, interacted with everybody and made everybody laugh. The groupsize was very good, just a small group of 5, so it was great and felt like a private tour. I would recoomend this excursion for everybody who wants to see Madeira, and then not all the touristy places, but the real deal. And book with this company! They are the best in the game.

  We’re huge fans of Nature Connection. We had an amazing day exploring the north and northwest parts of the island with Ricardo, and it was clear from the start that we had a great connection. We chatted and laughed like old friends, and it was that human touch that really made this tour special. We had a perfect day, learning so much about the history, geology, forestry, social, economic, and political aspects of Madeira. Ricardo’s friendly nature and vast knowledge made all the difference. We’re planning to return to Madeira soon and explore more of this beautiful island with Nature Connection. Thanks, Ricardo, for showing us your incredible island!

  We had an amazing time. Our tour guide was wonderful. He explained the history of the island and showed us some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend this tour!

  We had the most fantastic day on the west and northwest Jeep Safari! Our guide, Ricardo, was brilliant — knowledgeable, funny, and so passionate about Madeira. We saw so many beautiful spots we’d never have found ourselves and learned so much about the island’s history, culture, and levadas. An absolute highlight of our trip — highly recommend! And brilliant value for money. It allowed us to see so many wonderful things about Madeira we would otherwise have had no idea about. I think it would be an amazing tour for all ages.

  We could not fault the wonderful day we spent with João on the tour of the west of the island. He had a wonderful relaxed and welcoming manner whilst being both entertaining and informative. He made sure EVERYONE was included in conversations and made a point of speaking to each person individually. We saw such beautiful landscapes and had an off-roading experience as part of the tour. We would highly recommend this tour and especially João.
