With this activity you will know the Protected Landscape of Castañar Gallego, one of the two that exist in Extremadura along with the forest track that crosses all the slopes of the Ambroz Valley. Forest and mid-mountain ecosystems will witness our presence.

5.00We have done two routes with Daniel, one in March and one in November. We've gone four people and two dogs. The car very comfortable and clean. The magical tour teaches the most special corners of the area. Recommended 100%

5.00I have been to Hervás again in autumn. If it is always worth it, with Dani, from “Vive Ambroz”, even more so. Not only does he know a lot about trees, plants, birds, influence on the economy, history and, in general, the area, but he also lives it and knows how to transmit it, making us enjoy it as much as he does. With complete honesty, it tells you when it is (or is not) appropriate to take an excursion. But the best of all is that he is an excellent person, always aware of those who go with him and adapting to each one's circumstances. Thank you very much, Dani. You are great.

5.00Highly recommended! Already last year I did a route with Dani and I was struck by both his knowledge and his mastery of the terrain and the passion with which he lives "his Ambroz", for what I have repeated this year. He knows a lot about the area, the trees, the customs... and (the hardest part) he knows how to transmit it. It adapts superbly to the conditions of the client, in this case with little mobility, which is not too usual, so I recommend it to older people who want to enjoy the area without great physical effort. Thanks Dani! I hope to return

5.00It is a highly recommended activity in which you know the whole valley and Dani explains it in a very entertaining and entertaining way. Mostly I liked the walk through the chestnut tree and the arrival at the waterfall (and the picnic !!!)

5.00We did my boy and I a 4x4 route through the Ambroz Valley with Dani and we could not be more delighted. The valley is spectacular and Dani’s explanations make this visit an essential activity in the area. We highly recommend it!

5.00The route was spectacular, especially for the very interesting explanations that Daniel gave us at all times. Especially interesting the small walking route in the Galician Castañar, where as a biologist he described perfectly the secrets of that forest. The drive along the Heidi track provided magnificent views of the Ambroz Valley, taking us through places that would otherwise be inaccessible. The road was sometimes a "hard" thing, impossible to do if not in a 4x4. Daniel offered us a mid-day snack, and took into account that one of the passengers was coeliac and took pains to arrange food and refreshments suitable for her. We enjoyed so much, that a route scheduled for 4 h, in the end it was 5 !!!
