Drive to Skopje After a fulfilling day in Ohrid, we continue our journey to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Upon arrival, we will embark on a city tour to explore the vibrant mix of architectural styles and historical landmarks. Explore Skopje In Skopje, we’ll visit the iconic Stone Bridge, which connects the old and new parts of the city, and stroll around Macedonia Square, where we can see the Alexander the Great Statue. We’ll also explore the Skopje Fortress, offering stunning views of the city, and visit Mother Teresa Square. Skopje’s unique combination of modern monuments and Ottoman-era influences makes it a fascinating city to explore.

Pristina

Drive to Pristina On Day 2, we begin our day in Skopje and head towards Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. The scenic drive takes us through rolling hills and charming villages before reaching Pristina, a city with a youthful energy and historical significance. Explore Pristina Upon arrival in Pristina, we will visit the National Library of Kosovo, renowned for its unusual architecture, and the Mother Teresa Square. We’ll also visit the Newborn Monument, which celebrates Kosovo’s independence. You’ll have time to explore the city’s vibrant atmosphere and rich mix of modern and traditional influences.

Prizren

Drive to Prizren In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Prizren, one of Kosovo’s most charming and picturesque towns. Explore Prizren Prizren is known for its Ottoman architecture and the stunning Prizren Fortress, which offers panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains. We will also visit the House of the Prizren League, a significant site in Kosovo’s independence history, and explore the old town’s cobbled streets, the Stone Bridge, and the vibrant Traditional Bazaar.

Shkoder

Drive to Shkoder On Day 3, we start our journey in Prizren and drive west to Shkoder, Albania’s historic town near Lake Shkoder. The drive is scenic, offering views of the countryside and mountains along the way. Explore Shkoder In Shkoder, we will visit Rozafa Castle, which offers stunning views of the town and lake, and learn about the famous Rozafa legend. We will also take a walk through the Shkoder Historical Museum and stroll around the Pedestrian Zone, where you can enjoy the local culture and vibrant atmosphere.

Zabljak

Drive to Zabljak In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Zabljak, located in the heart of the Durmitor National Park. The drive takes us through beautiful mountainous landscapes, and upon arrival, we will check into our hotel.

Sarajevo

Drive to Sarajevo On Day 4, we depart from Zabljak and drive to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The journey takes us through the stunning landscapes of the Balkans, passing through the beautiful mountains and valleys of Montenegro and Bosnia. Explore Sarajevo In Sarajevo, we will explore the Bashcharšija (Old Bazaar), where Ottoman influences are evident in the architecture, street markets, and mosques. We will visit Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, the Latin Bridge, and Sarajevo City Hall. Sarajevo is known for its cultural diversity and unique blend of Eastern and Western influences.

Mostar

Morning: Departure from Sarajevo We begin the day with an early departure from Sarajevo. We head towards Mostar, known for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge) and stunning Ottoman architecture. The scenic drive offers glimpses of the Bosnian countryside, rivers, and mountains. Explore Mostar Upon arrival in Mostar, we will explore this beautiful town. The Old Bridge, a symbol of the town, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a breathtaking view of the Neretva River. We’ll wander through the Old Bazaar, where you can shop for local souvenirs and enjoy the quaint atmosphere. If you’re interested, there will be a chance to taste Bosnian coffee in a local café.

Kotor

Drive to Kotor In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Kotor, Montenegro. The scenic drive along the Adriatic coast will offer panoramic views of Kotor Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its natural beauty and medieval architecture.

Morning: Explore Kotor After breakfast, we begin our exploration of Kotor. This charming medieval town is known for its well-preserved Venetian architecture and dramatic backdrop of the Loveljan Mountains. We’ll visit St. Tryphon Cathedral, one of the town’s most important landmarks, and explore the winding streets of the Old Town, a maze of narrow alleyways and quaint squares. If you’re up for a challenge, we can take a short hike up the Kotor Fortress for stunning panoramic views of the town and the bay. Alternatively, you can explore Kotor’s Maritime Museum or relax at a café.

Tirana

Drive to Tirana In the afternoon, we begin the drive from Kotor to Tirana, the capital of Albania. The drive takes us through the beautiful countryside of Montenegro and Albania, offering views of lakes, mountains, and picturesque villages along the way.
