Tarangire National Park
With a packed lunch, you'll depart Arusha for a two-hour drive through the Maasai steppe towards Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by a landscape dominated by majestic baobabs rising out of the acacia parkland, forming a perfect backdrop for the large herds of African elephants wandering among them. Other mammals sharing this habitat range from lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and black-backed jackals to Kirk’s dik-diks, dwarf and banded mongoose, impalas, Beisa oryxes, steinboks, and African hare. You should expect to see buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and waterbucks. The variety of birds you may see include the Maasai ostrich, white-headed vulture, African scops owl, and the endemic ashy starling. You'll have lunch in the park. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Kizumba Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your camp, you will go for a full day of game drives around Central Serengeti. The Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalos, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and hundreds upon hundreds of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant's gazelles. The spectacle of predators versus prey dominates Tanzania's greatest park. Golden–manned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while high densities of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat. On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After the game drive, we will return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we'll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.

Ngorongoro Crater
We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. We expect to be back in Arusha around 5 pm although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation.

Our family's trip to Tanzania was very peaceful. We connected with Said Hasan at Jema Safaris and Tours and after discussing the safari with him, we finalized the decision for 5 days. We 5 days exploring Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Mayrana and the Ngorongoro Crater, and every day felt like a new adventure. Our guide ( Eddy and Kareem ) were very helpful and much explained about wildlife and culture. Tarangire was full of elephants and those amazing baobab trees that looked straight out of a movie. In the Serengeti, The most incredible moment was watching hundreds of zebras crossing the Mara River, absolutely breathtaking. We also explored the peaceful lake mayrana. And lastly explored Ngorongoro Crater we felt completely another hidden world. Jema Safaris team made this journey one of the best experiences of our lives.

If there’s one trip that will stay with me forever, it’s the 5 days I spent on a camping safari across Tanzania with my cousins. From the moment we set off from Arusha, there was this mix of excitement and curiosity- we know that feeling when we don’t really know what’s ahead, but we just know it’s going to be good. Because we booked with Jema Safaris and Tours, a local tour operator in Tanzania. He had planned the trip incredibly well for us before we started. And we realized that he was really implementing it according to the plan and sincerely. We started at Tarengire National Park Setting up our first camp inside the park, with stars lighting up the sky and distant animal sounds in the background, felt both surreal and grounding. We saw a huge elephant. The next at Lake Manyara was a surprise package. I’d read about tree-climbing lions before. We camped near the village that night, and the vibe was so warm. Then came Serengeti was everything we imagined, and then some. Camping in the Serengeti at night was wild, literally. We could hear hyenas laughing somewhere in the dark, and at one point, I swear I heard a lion roar. Camping in the Serengeti at night was wild, literally. We could hear hyenas laughing somewhere in the dark, and at one point, I swear I heard a lion roar. Finally, our final day the Ngorongoro Crater was like nature showing off. Within a few hours, we spotted rhinos, elephants, buffalo, lions, and countless flamingos. Simple camping, amazing guides ( Eddy & Kareem ) and nonstop wildlife the 5 day we stay our hearts.

Our 5 Tanzanian safari experience was very well and provided By Hassan at Jema Safaris and Tours. We start exploring at Lake Manyara, it was stunning, with monkeys, giraffes, and hippos making an appearance. Serengeti our next place, it was simply magical with the endless plains and abundant wildlife. We were lucky to witness the migration, and the glamping experience at Serengeti. Our guide Eddy was knowledgeable and ensured we had an excellent safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater was a perfect grand finale with abundant wildlife in a stunning natural setting. This was truly an authentic and raw safari experience.

I joined a 5-day camping safari in Tanzania, It was very fun with the passionate Tanzanian local tour operator Jema Safaris and Tours & made the whole journey enjoyable. I was able to join this group with Hassan's help. Of course, I sincerely thank you for making the safari easier for me. The adventure I felt was authentic - waking up to the sound of birds and distant animal calls, spending the day exploring the parks, and then gathering around the campfire under the stars at night. The guides Karrim and Eddy were knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the wildlife, which made the journey both fun and educational. I love nature and really enjoyed Tanzania. So I went on a camping safari. It was an experience that will stay with me long after I return home.

Our tour operator Jema Safaris welcomed us like old friends when we arrived in Tanzania, Staff and our Guide Eddy were friendly and knowledgeable. Our first exploration started in Serengeti, Each day offered a new palette of sounds, scents, and sights-elephants flapping their ears, giraffes nibbling treetops, and hippos snorting in muddy pools. Being there with my friends made it even more special. Together we stood in silence at times, just soaking in the majesty. Our next destination in Ngorongoro, on the other hand, felt like entering nature’s secret garden. The crater’s walls stood tall like guardians, enclosing a world rich with life. We were mesmerized by the elephants with their giant tusks, the playful hippos wallowing in water, and the silence broken only by the call of birds. It wasn’t just sightseeing-it was a soul-stirring connection to the earth’s raw beauty. It was our a perfect combination of adventure, relaxation time in Tanzania and obviously we wanted to recommend it as a very good Tanzanian local tour organizer Jema Safaris and Tours.

Me and my girlfriend set out on a 5-day camping safari across Tanzania, and it turned into one of the most unforgettable adventures of our lives. Eddy helped us completely to survive our entire safari, just like a good friend. Waking up in the wild, unzipping our tent to the cool morning air, felt like stepping into another world. Serengeti’s vast beauty and Ngorongoro’s dramatic crater were stunning, but nothing compared to the closeness the journey gave us. Each game drive brought us face to face with incredible wildlife-herds of elephants, prides of lions, and graceful giraffes moving across the horizon. Sharing those moments together made them even more special. At night, we sat by the campfire, talking under a sky crowded with stars, with the distant roars of lions reminding us where we were. The Ngorongoro Crater amazed us with its dramatic beauty. Living so close to nature brought us closer as a couple too. We laughed, we marveled, and we created memories we’ll carry forever. Five days in the wild gave us a story we’ll keep retelling for a lifetime.

When I look back at our 5-day safari through Tanzania, it feels like I’m flipping through the pages of a wild and beautiful story. I was lucky to share it with my best friend, and together we set out with a group of fellow travelers who quickly turned into companions on this unforgettable adventure. Our safari well organized by Jema Safaris and Tours & truly they provided peaceful and satisfactory service. Our guide George was superb, he is also friendly and passionate. He was very helpful in giving us the opportunity to see the Big Five and Of course it was highlight, was witnessing the Big Five. Each sighting carried its own magic. We watched lions lazing under the shade yet keeping their powerful presence, elephants moving in calm family herds, buffalo standing with their stubborn pride, rhinos grazing with a quiet strength, and the unforgettable moment of spotting a leopard stretched across the branches of an acacia tree. Every animal encounter felt raw and authentic, like nature showing us its true face. The excitement of being in the open plains surrounded by nature was overwhelming, and the atmosphere of us being part of a group added a wonderful social spark to the journey.

We were hopeful that our Tanzania safari would be a great success. Jema Safaris and Tours fulfilled our expectations in the best way they could, and that was exactly what we wanted. The road from Arusha felt endless, a ribbon of dust leading into an ocean of grass. First zebra spotted, standing still, staring at us like we were the strange ones. The Serengeti sun wasn’t gentle. It baked everything in gold by afternoon, then melted into a horizon so wide it made my city life feel like a small, noisy box. In Ngorongoro, we descended into a place that felt like a secret: mist above, lions below, and flamingos scattered like pink brush strokes on a lake. But the best moments weren’t the big five. They were the quiet ones-watching an elephant calf clumsily chasing birds, sharing warm chai with our guide Karrim, while he told childhood stories, hearing the night crackle with insect songs I couldn’t name. 5 days later, we left with more than love nature. We left with the feeling that nature doesn’t perform for us-it just is. And that’s the real magic.

Celebrating our 2nd marriage anniversary in Tanzania was like stepping into a dream we never knew we had. We chose a 5-day camping safari with Jema Safaris and Tours & they decorated every day in such a way that it felt like our honeymoon and what we found was far more than just wildlife, it was a journey into nature, love, and togetherness. We explored the heart of the Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Sleeping under the stars, hearing lions roar in the distance, and waking up to the sounds of birds and zebras was something we’ll never forget. The cozy campfires each evening gave us quiet time to reflect, talk, laugh, and just be together with nothing but nature around us. At night, we camped beneath the stars, wrapped in warm blankets, listening to the sounds of the wild. The campfire glowed gently as we toasted to two years of love and many more adventures ahead. We held hands as lions roared in the distance and shared quiet, heartfelt conversations surrounded by nature. The sunrise over the Serengeti was a moment we will never forget.
