  Taswira organised an itinerary to suit our needs, length of time & budget, and they delivered in every respect. We had a fabulous time and saw so much (including the Big 5). We also learnt so much from the very experienced, knowledgable and fun guides - George, Max and Johnson. The game drives were excellent and the food and accommodation was very good everywhere we went. The company are also very ethical and support similar minded organsations (hotels/lodges). We were also privileged to visit Umoja school which is also supported by Taswira. And the Original Maasai village - it was so much more than just a safari holiday! The whole African experience warmed our hearts in so many ways. 10 days before we were due to travel there was FCOD warning not to travel due to unrest following the election. Luckily this was removed a few days later and we were able to travel as planned. There was absolutely no sign of trouble anywhere and we felt 100% safe at all times. The Tanzanian people are so welcoming! I would highly recommend Taswira Africa for their professionalism and delivery.   Tanzanian safari was an amazing experience. The Serengeti was the highlight and Taswira was a great company to travel with as they provided personal, caring service. Both drivers were excellent. Very professional and brought joy to the trip.

  I can not recommend Taswira Safaris highly enough. Our trip carefully organised by Caroline & George. My experience started a few days prior to joining our group, with a short visit to a farming project at Rainbow Ridge, Moshi, with driver & guide, Emanuel. He managed to teach me some of the language and took me to interesting places in Arusha. Our small tour group washes split into two jeeps, George in one, and our guide & driver was Maximilian (Max). What an absolutely delightful, kind, considerate, patient, professional, knowledgeable and attentive young man. Max made our experience incredibly memorable and always had time to answer questions, wait for photos to be taken, allowed for rest stops, oh, and he’s a really great driver on the quite rough dirt tracks.   We had the absolute best time with Taswira guide company. George in particular was incredible with his knowledge and professionalism and showed us animals and sights that I never expected. The arranged accommodation was first class. We were a group of friends totalling 6 people and everyone had an amazing time. We were on safari for 11 days and George’s enthusiasm to show us everything Tanzanian shone every day throughout our journey.   Absolutely incredible experience. George and Taswira made the experience as great as possible. Our driver, Miltani, and cook, Samson, were spectacular. This was my first safari and definitely not my last.

  An incredible family holiday. Christmas in the Serengeti! Taswira delivered all that was promised and more. Our itinerary flowed perfectly. At Taswira’s suggestion we began our trip at The Original Masaii Lodge - this was the perfect introduction to the country. We ended our trip at Zanzibar. All of our accomodation was fantastic, and the food delicious. All lodgings were conscious of providing safe drinking water, and this reflects Taswira’s choice of accomodation. Our guide Shabani looked after us well and we all looked forward to seeing him each day! He always made us feel safe and his skill for finding animals was fantastic. We did see the Big 5! We were a travelling party of myself, my husband and 3 young adult sons and one partner from Australia. We had not travelled overseas prior so I will close with my final thoughts - was Tanzania a shock? Absolutely. But we definitely loved every minute of our experience and the people so welcoming, and felt we were in good hands with Taswira. Remember that little things may not always go to plan, but it will always get sorted! “AfricaTime” is a real thing and just down the road can be 2 hours away and up a very windy road. Hakuna Matata! Would I use Taswira again? Absolutely! Would I go without a fully organised tour/guide - No, it all is a little daunting at first. Our lives have definitely been enriched by the whole experience and would love to one day go back again.

  George's team at Taswira are amazing. Wonderful drivers, great at spotting wildlife & identifying what interests you have. Accommodation & food was incredible. Can't recommend them highly enough. Made my dream come true.
