Welcome to Jordan and start your amazing Holiday! Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Petra. The rest of today is at your leisure to independently explore.

The Treasury

After breakfast, spend the day with your private guide exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rose City of Petra. The ancient site was rediscovered in 1812 AD, and it was first settled around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean tribe from the Arabian Peninsula. Start your magnificent archaeological treasure visit of the Rose City on foot through a narrow Siq, where the gorge leads you to reveal the famous façade of Al-Khazneh (the Treasury). Continuing your walk inside the ancient site explore tombs, temples, an extraordinary Amphitheatre, and a Roman colonnaded street. Our tour will conclude at the Petra Basin Restaurant. You will be free to further explore Petra on your own as there are still more to see and discover. Those who are feeling energetic, why not continue up the hillside along the ancient steps that take you to the Monastery by climbing the 860 steps?! Or do further exploration for other monuments before you exit the site taking the same route you came through.

The Royal Tombs

Today, you'll enjoy a free morning in Petra, offering you the chance to revisit this magnificent site for further exploration at your own pace before we head to Wadi Rum afterwards. Petra is vast, which is why we've provided entry tickets for two days. This morning, take the chance to explore this ancient site at your own pace. For your second day, we suggest venturing off the beaten track and avoiding crowds by exploring the Madras trail. Keep in mind, this trail requires a guide for safe navigation. You can easily hire one from the Visitors Center or let us arrange it for you. If you prefer to head directly to Wadi Rum in the morning, indicating that one day in Petra is sufficient for you, or if you opt to skip your own additional exploration in Petra to allocate more time in Wadi Rum, we can arrange this locally to accommodate your preferences.

Wadi Rum Protected Area

Later, around midday, we'll embark on a drive to the moonscape terrain of Wadi Rum that described by T. E. Lawrence as "vast, echoing and God-like." A vast, peaceful landscape with amazing rock formations that stretches on colorful sandy desert. Enjoy 4x4 jeep safari inside the Protected Area across the sand dunes, while feeling the spirit of the spectacular scenic views of Wadi Rum. Tonight, we enjoy a Jordanian dinner with an overnight camping at private camp, where you'll have a chance to enjoy the dazzling night skies of Wadi Rum.

Karak Castle

After breakfast, we drive three hours to Karak, located south of Jordan, and the Crusaders had built a massive Fortress there during the period of their control over the Kings Way to be a strategically linked point between Shobak Castle and Jerusalem. It is an ancient Crusader stronghold; where it sits 900 meters above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. Karak Castle is a dark maze of stone- vaulted halls and endless passageways. The best preserved are underground and can be reached via a massive door. The Castle is an impressive insight into the architectural military genius of the Crusaders.

Dead Sea Region

Proceed to the Dead Sea hotel for overnight. You have the day free afternoon to relax by the shore of the lowest point on earth’s surface, for a chance to swim and float in its buoyant mineral-rich waters of the world’s oldest spa or try a detoxifying a mud bath. You could also indulge in a massage or spa treatment at your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, and transfer Queen Alia airport for your onward flight home.
