Petra

After breakfast, meet your driver and travel 45 minutes south of Amman to Madaba, a historic town famed for its beautiful Byzantine mosaics. Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George to see the renowned 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, still preserved in its original location. Continue to Mount Nebo, just 10 km away, a sacred site believed to be the burial place of Prophet Moses. From its summit, take in breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Bethlehem, and even Jerusalem on clear days. Combining history, spirituality, and stunning landscapes, these sites are highlights of any Jordan journey. After your visits, proceed south along the desert Highway to Petra, where you will check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Wadi Rum Protected Area

After breakfast, set out to discover Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Jordan’s most treasured landmark. Carved into rose-red cliffs by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago, this ancient city once thrived as a major trade hub. Walk through the winding Siq to the breathtaking Treasury (Al-Khazneh), then continue along the Street of Facades to explore the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle, each showcasing Petra’s extraordinary heritage. In the afternoon, travel south to Wadi Rum, the land of the Bedouins and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic sandstone mountains and vast desert plains. Embark on a 2-hour Jeep tour with a local Bedouin driver (unless otherwise specified), exploring canyons, rock formations, and timeless desert landscapes. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp, surrounded by Wadi Rum’s magical starlit sky.

Dead Sea

After breakfast, depart for the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth at 400 meters below sea level.
