Begin your safari with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Kigali, followed by an optional visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Then enjoy a scenic drive to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive across the park’s stunning savannahs, where you may encounter zebras, giraffes, elephants, and a diverse range of antelope species.

Akagera National Park

After visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial then you will be leaving Kigali towards Akagera National Park for an estimated 2.5 - 3 hours drive with local experts and friendly driver guide, the transport is assured with a choice 4x4 safari vehicle with wifi connectivity to keep you connected with your lovely ones and the world Stop by: Bashana Companies & Imigongo Art Center. with 40 minutes stopover at Imigongo Art Center for Lunch, coffee, restroom, snacks, check arts, handcrafts and relaxing. Stop by: Akagera National Park, Rwanda Arrival at the park entry and clearing at the park reception. After clearance then you'll be heading to your accommodation and check-in. Where you will freshen up, relax/swim before having sunset boat launch by 4.30 pm in lake Ihema the first largest lake in Akagera National Park and the second largest in Rwanda after Lake Kivu. 7:00 am early morning pick up from Mantis Akagera Game Lodge and start our full day safari for an estimated 6 hours game drive .with local experts and friendly driver guide, you'll have lunch of your choice at Mihindi Picnic Area. The Big 5 are one of the biggest attractions in Akagera whereby travelers get to see the Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, and Rhinos. The forest fringed lakes, papyrus swamps, savannah plains and rolling highlands combine to make Akagera amongst the most scenic of reserves anywhere in Africa. It has exceptional levels of biodiversity and forms the largest protected wetland in central Africa. 3:00 pm end of the safari & go to the Lodge End of the Safari in the North 4pm Check in at the Lodge where you'll be freshen up and relaxing before the night game drive. 5pm - 8pm Night Game Drive • Dinner & Overnight stay at Karenge Bush Camp

Akagera National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the perfect time to spot predators and other animals active at sunrise. After an exciting wildlife session, return to the lodge for breakfast. Later, exit the park and enjoy a comfortable transfer back to Kigali. Spend your afternoon at leisure or choose an optional short city tour.

Nyungwe National Park - Rwanda

After breakfast, drive to the majestic Nyungwe National Park. Experience the famous Canopy Walkway, suspended high above the forest floor, offering panoramic views of the lush rainforest and its diverse wildlife. Later, tour the scenic Gisakura Tea Plantations, where you’ll learn about Rwanda’s rich tea culture and production process.
