  I always wanted to go deep into the rainforest to experience nature as raw as it comes. It was beyond my expectations. The travel to Waita lodge is long, but 100% worth it. The last 3 hours in the canoe are actually amazing already. Waita lodge is further down the ever compared with other Cuyabeno lodges. It is owned by local families, and managed with help from experienced guides and travel agents. Everything is arranged for you. The activities are fun (you will see tons of animals) and the food is very nice. However remote the lodge is, it is still very comfortable. Beds were good, and showers were warm. The days are full of activities, but you will be well-rested by the end of the trip. I can only say that if you wait for a sign to book this tour: this is it. Just do it, you will not regret it.

  Perfect!!! Excellent stay with Waita Lodge. The staff is very attentive and is amazingly kind. Our Guide Diego spoke English and surprised us with so much knowledge. We felt right at home. Comfort was on appointment and the food very good (congratulations to the cook!). Top organization. Thank you to the whole team for filling our eyes with stars. A minimum stay of 5 days is essential.

  Amazing stay with best guides. Not a single hour of boredom, plenty of animals seen, a lot of knowledge gained, much fun had :) A lot of tasty food suplied. Accomodation was great with some visits of wildlife (mosquito nets kept us safe). Life changing experience for sure. Thank you.

  I did a four day Amazon tour with the Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge and had an amazing time! I booked my tour with Ecuatraveling and was hesitant at first because of the lack of reviews on the lodge, however the lodge did not disappoint! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to speak in fluent english as well as spanish. The accommodations were good, especially for being in the middle of the Jungle. The beds had bed nets and were were provided with towels, as well as a biodegradable soap, ect. Everyday someone would come and clean each room too. The food was tasty and filling as well. The area was absolutely beautiful and despite the rain, we were still able to do all the activities and have an excellent time. Don't let the lack of reviews deter you from booking a stay with them. This lodge is fantastic and I, along with everyone in my group, had the time of our lives!

  Thanks heaps to all the great team at Ecuatraveling, they did a great job and helped me out with a bunch of other activities around Ecuador. I ended up extending my 4 day trip to a 5 day trip and absolutely loved it. Thanks again guys!

  Great experience in the Cuyabeno reserve. Tons of animals (Toucans, caimans, pink dolphins, snakes, frogs, spiders, monkeys...etc) Great home team. A big thank you to the Captain of the boat who always smiles and a good eye to see the animals. The day in the community was excellent, learning how to make bread with Yuca and meeting the Shaman. Swimming from the pontoon or in the lagoon. Great experience

  I stayed 5 days / 4 nights at Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge and I do not regret my choice. Far from everything and disconnected this experience will remain for me an unforgettable moment! 5 days of calm and tranquility, surrounded by nature! If you are looking for great luxury and your usual comfort pass your way because even if the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food correct you should expect something rather summary. But what an experience: Boat rides along the Cuyabeno River, hikes in the forest (day and night) in search of local wildlife (if you are lucky you can observe anacondas, boas, caimans, monkeys, sloths, pink dolphins and much more...), swimming in the lagoon at sunset. If you are not in a hurry, opt for the 5-day stay that will allow you to take a 3-hour walk (rowing) along the Cuyabeno River: this activity will give another dimension to your stay. Thank you to Galo and Tamara (guides) and all the staff at Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge for this moment that will be among my best memories of Ecuador!

  I went on a 4 night 5 days tour to the Cuyabeno. The tour was everything that I could have hoped for. We saw a lot of wildlife and had a great time with the local guides. I would definitely recommend everybody going on this trip. And if you have the time take the extra 5th day, once you there you might as well get the full experience. Thank you to Ecuatraveling for an extraordinary experience!!!
