Homigot Sunrise Plaza
Homigot, which means "Tiger's Tail," first comes to mind as a place worth visiting in Pohang. It is the easternmost point of the Korean Peninsula and is also famous as a place to welcome the sun because it is known as the place where the sun rises first on the Korean Peninsula. The "Hand of Win-Win," a large hand sculpture in Homigot Sunrise Square, is said to have the meaning of "win-win and harmony" as the hands on the sea and the hands on the land face each other.
Pohang
Guryongpo Japanese House Street: Guryongpo Japanese House Street is where the Japanese who came to Joseon lived after the Joseon-Japan Trade Treaty was signed between Joseon and Japan in 1883. Recently, this place became K drama filming location, “When the Camellia Blooms” and attracts many tourists.

Great experience with a small tour group! The driver/tour guide was exceptional and his driving was outstanding! Park Jong-ho was one of the best guides that we’ve had and we travel a lot. Thank you!

Highly recommend this tour. We had a great time. Taejung Park was our guides name and he told us a lot about the activities we were doing. Unfortunately it rained and we did not go on the spacewalk but we did take pictures of it. The fish market was good, the restaurant we had lunch in was amazing. So much food. Crab was delicious.

We booked this tour for the sole purpose of walking on the Pohang Space Walk. When we got there, there were signs stating that the Space Walk is closed the first Monday of each month, which happened to be the day we were there. We got to see the Space Walk but could not walk on it. It was a huge disappointment to wake up for a 6:30am pick up and not be able to do the main thing the tour advertised. The guide was surprised that the Space Walk was closed. I don't understand how you can sell a tour on a day that the Space Walk is regularly closed. We would have understood if it was not opened due to bad weather or emergency but this was not the situation. We would have changed the day we booked the tour if we had known the Space Walk would be closed. Would we be able to get refund? The guide, Mr. Park, was ok. He initially wasn't to welcoming, but eventually warmed up to the group and was friendly and even helped us take a few group photos. It would have been nice if he could have gave us more information or history about the places we stopped at. He did however, answer all questions the group had. He also went out of his way to find us a non-seafood place to eat at the fish market. We would have given this tour 3 or 4 stars if we were able to walk on the Space Walk.
