5.00Sent my sister to learn cooking class in this Thai cooking studio. She said the teacher was very accommodating, understanding, kind and she made her feel at home. The owner is very nice as well. She said she learned a lot. Highly recommend.

5.00With a taxi we were picked up at our hotel and taken to Galangel Cooking Studio. Once there, we were introduced to the cooking instructor and were allowed to choose which 5 dishes we wanted to make. We didn't all have to choose the same thing. Then we were taken to the market, where the instructor took care of the purchases of the necessary ingredients and also explained the different ingredients. Then we drove back and it was time to cook. It explained very clearly what had to be done and helped if it did not work. The result was fantastic, good food and prepared all by yourself. And also a very nice experience.
Super great experience with Thai cuisine.

5.00This was so much fun! You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the cooking location. After a glass of water we first go to the market, because cooking without ingredients is of course difficult. At the market, New explains all kinds of fruit and vegetables to our instructor. Then she buys everything and we go back. We are going to make 5 dishes that you can choose yourself. In the whole cooking process you are very well guided really top. I advise everyone to do this. This is getting to know Thai cuisine. You may bring your own food that you do not get. The recipes will also be emailed to you so you can make it at home.

5.00After we were picked up from our hotel we were welcomed by the cookery workshop supervisor. First to the market to get ingredients and then to start preparing the dishes selected in advance. The tastes and smells were delicious. The amount of peppers is taken into account. There was so much food I couldn't eat, and half portions would be fine by me. After cooking and eating 5 courses we were dropped off at our hotel early in the afternoon. There we first went for an hour. Highly recommended to do. Our group was very nice. People from Taiwan and Singapore.

5.00Awesome experience. So much food that we didn’t eat dinner. Our instructor, New, was a complete professional and spoke English very well. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They sent a red truck right to our hotel in the morning and dropped us off there when we finished. Do yourself a favor and book this class.
This is a Chiang Mai must try!

5.00We had a great time going to the market and having all of the ingredients explained to us. Then we purchased all the fresh ingredients to cook with. Our teacher, New (not sure of spelling) was incredible. Everything was explained very well. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone, and take it again to make more dishes.

5.00Very friendly and accommodating I requested for halal and they obliged. A morning well spent. Transport was included. I highly recommend Galangal.

5.00Not knowing anything about cooking or Thai food is not a problem anymore. The guides are all great taking us to the market, showing us what to buy, teaching about how to prepare and finally eating.
