• The highlight of my life to the highest mountain Killimanjaro in Africa continent.

  This Kilimanjaro trip must be the "highlight" of my life as it is probably the highest point I ever set foot on. Though I trekked Everest Base Camp (18000 ft) and Annapurna Base Camp (14000 ft) Nepal in 2022 and 2024, the Kili (20000 ft) summit posted different challenges. Herment, the lead guide, from Climb Kili and his crew definitely made our climb much easier and enjoyable. His leadership in managing a large crew of 43 porters and 6 guides, serving our group of 13 people, is unbelievable. Imagine the numbers of tents, toilets, tables/chairs, food and other they had to carry with, and all those were ready setup whenever we arrived at the campsites. I was amazed by the logistic planning and execution of ClimbKili, especially the varieties of food, fruit and clean water available every single day. We have a large group, by design, of 13 friends, with diverse ages and trekking experience. It would be a nightmare if we tried to be going on the same speed, as each individual may need different acclimation process. Herment and the guides understood this well, and told us to listen to our body and go with the speed we are comfortable with. Herment always stayed behind and ensured everybody was OK. As he said, "we are not in a race, our aim is to summit, go pole pole." The guides were always encouraging and supporting us when we need them. The porter entertained us with many dances. Same as in EBC and ABC, I chose to put my body through hell, challenging my limit physically and mentally. I went pole pole, step by step, slowly but surely. There is no word to describe the joy of reaching the summit, it was an emotional and spiritual journey. This journey has burned into my memory for the rest of my life, I will treasure the friendship I made with new friends, and all the guides and porters. There is a saying, "It's not the destination, it's the journey, the people you meet!" And I gained an African Brother, Herment! *Special thanks to Climb Kili for giving me a surprise birthday party at 13000 ft. How did they make a birthday cake at such high altitude?* Another way to remember this trip is "It is a piece of cake, Hakuna Matata!"

  We had an incredible trip with Climb Kili and successfully summited! From the start, Tiffany made sure all our questions and that we had what we need ahead of our trip. Our flight was delayed by a day and she even helped us get a refund on our hotel. Our guides and climbing team were incredible. Thank you to Amani, Godwin and Isaiah for leading us up the mountain all the way and being so kind and patient! Could not have done it without you. We also had a great crew of fellow climbers that helped make this a trip we won’t forget.

  I cannot express my gratitude to Climb Kili for helping fulfill a lifelong dream of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. Tiffany and David handled trip coordination and planning impeccably, answering my many questions and putting together a terrific team in very short order. As soon as I landed in Tanzania, Rickson made sure I was immediately connected with my driver, Philip, who made me feel at ease. Amani was an expert guide. He made sure I was prepared every morning, he patiently guided and paced me for each hike, and took time to point out interesting plants and animals. He knew most of the other guides on the mountain, a testament to his 29 years of experience. I cannot express how well I ate on this trip. Every meal, including breakfast, was 2-3 courses thanks to Halifa’s culinary skills. He accommodated my vegetarianism with fresh vegetable soups, fresh and diverse fruits, and hearty main dishes. I felt nourished each day before and after hiking, and never once touched the snacks I was advised to pack! Balthazar said “welcome home” at every new campsite, and he truly made it feel like it. The rest of our team was so kind and supportive. Lastly, for folks whose schedules may not align with “peak” or “dry” season: the benefit of travelling in April/May is that there are no crowds; we were the only people on almost every single hike (including the summit), which was really special.

  I absolutely loved my experience with Climb Kili. As a young woman solo traveler, I have nothing but great things to say and felt safe and supported the whole time. Mr. Goodluck, Amani and our whole porter team were so kind and welcoming. I feel very grateful to be welcomed into their world for a week. And of course the views throughout the whole trek were incredible. Seeing the sunrise at the summit was magical.

  Outstanding trip and service provided by Climb Kili. Our lead guide, Mr. Goodluck was outstanding, supportive and fun to climb with. The entire crew was friendly and very hard working. CK has a special permit to allowed us to start the final day with a hour head start than the other crews camped lower. Just an overall amazing experience.

  My 17 y.o. son and I had the pleasure of climbing Mt Kili with the Climb Kili team. Specifically "Goodluck", our guide, and his crew was the BEST! We felt like royalty the way we were treated. My son struggled near the end with the altitude, which they professionally handled. One of the great things about C.K. is that they get the higher campsite for a quicker summit and we had NO waiting at the top for photos. Their food prep was spectacular and I didn't need to use any of the food I brought. Having done numerous Boy Scout high adventures, their handling of all the details, made this like a vacation! We also did a 2 day safari afterwards and got to see a ton of wildlife. Our overall experience was far better than I could have ever dreamed. Some of the nicest people I've met in all my world travels. I'd have no problem recommending C.K. for the entire professionalism of their team. If you are on the fence....DO IT.

  A few friends and I hiked Kilimanjaro with Climb Kili, and it was incredible. Our guides—Herment, Godlove, Leberatos, and Florian—were amazing. Not only were they super knowledgeable about the mountain, but you could tell they genuinely cared about our safety, success, and making sure we had the best experience possible. They went above and beyond to support us, keep us motivated, and ensure we felt comfortable the entire way. They’re incredibly selfless and cared so deeply about our safety and success! The porters were also fantastic—so friendly and hardworking. They kept the energy high during our trip! Chef Justin and Bryson served the most delicious food all week long. 10/10. Before the trek, we went on a safari with Gody, who was so knowledgeable and the MOST FUN. Climb Kili does a great job of matching your group to an awesome guide. Rickson made sure our entire trip was seamless. My birthday overlapped with the trip, and Rickson surprised our crew with a birthday cake! Climb Kili pays attention to every little detail, and it makes the trip unforgettable. If you’re thinking about booking, stop looking for other guide services and choose Climb Kili!!

  Climb Kili service was outstanding. Minaj and his crew provided top notch service. In fact you could see the high quality service from Climb Kili when you scan around the other tents for comparison. The food was delicious and they catered to my strict vegetarian diet. The crew are super hardworking and were always ahead and setting up our tents and food when we arrived at the next camp site. The Safari was super cool and again the hot food and table and chairs in the middle of nowhere was glamorous. Again, scanning the ground you could see the box lunches others were having vs. our hot meals.   My wife and I were looking for an adventure we could do together that would push us physically, but also not be too dangerous. After talking back and forth with Tiffany at ClimbKili, we knew this was our trip. My wife runs a small business so didn’t want to be gone too long. After discussing this, our fitness levels, and previous hiking experience with her, Tiffany helped us decide to try the Machame route in 6 days. Tiffany actually recommended 7 days but we thought we’d push for 6 so we could also fit in the quick safari since it was our first time to Africa. Long story short, we made it and enjoyed a trip of a lifetime! I can’t thank the ClimbKili team enough. EVERYONE from our first contact in Tiffany, to our driver Emanuel who picked us up at the airport, to Ricky who met us at the hotel, to our incredible crew led by our head guide Amani who safely escorted us to our goal of 19,341 feet and back down safely, all the while feeding us great meals every single day and taking care of our every need, was incredibly professional and helpful. If you’re even thinking about climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, just do it! And ClimbKili is the team to get you there. Oh, and if you have the time, I’d recommend the same thing Tiffany did and attempt it in at least 7 days instead of 6.   Guide Herment Mosha and assistant guides Gabi and Omi were outstanding. They did their very best to ensure we made it to the summit and enjoyed our time. They got three 50+ y/o and two 20+ y/o to the top. If that does not assure you of their skills, then I am not sure what will. The energy and endurance does not stop there. The amazing porters and rest of our team did a fabulous job of transporting our supplies and making sure we had sustainable and delicious food to eat. The comfort and outcome we experienced could not have been achieved without each and every person we interacted with from ClimbKili. They made a once in a lifetime opportunity possible for all of us. We will never forget it. One Team. One Dream!
