5.00Together with my cousin and a friend, I did the six-day tour around Iceland with the amazing guide, John, and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. John was extremely knowledgeable and always shared fascinating insights about Iceland. He was open to questions and genuinely happy to help us understand more about the country. His excitement and passion for Iceland were contagious and made the whole journey even more special. He also went above and beyond by adding extra stops based on the group’s interests, which made the experience feel personalized and unique. The overall infrastructure of the tour was excellent as well. The bus was brand new, very comfortable, equipped with Wi-Fi, and had charging ports for our phones, which made long drives even more enjoyable. The activities included in the tour, such as the glacier hike, the ice cave visit, and the horse riding, were also extremely well organized. The infrastructure for each of them was great, and the guides leading these experiences were amazing. They were always informative, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. The itinerary was very well designed. We explored not only Iceland’s iconic highlights but also some hidden gems that made the trip even more memorable. We would 100% recommend Troll Expeditions, and especially John as a guide. An absolutely fantastic experience!

5.00A comprehensive tour visiting the highlights of Iceland. There was time to chase the northern lights each night as long as weather permitted and we managed to see them on quite a few nights which was fantastic. Also a shoutout to our amazing guide, Rocky, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and had top Icelandic humour ;) definitely made the tour extra fun and memorable! Highly recommended.

5.00Incredible sights around Iceland. There were a lot of clouds so we had to work hard to see the Northern Lights, but managed to make it happen a couple of times. Our guide, Rocky did a great job and worked around part of the trip that had to be canceled. His playlist for the trip was a fun addition and made it that much better.

5.00The 6 day tour was a wonderful experience but most of all Rocky our guide made it 10x better!!! The tour takes you all around the golden circle, however it’s not just a matter of dropping you off at the locations and picking you up, Rocky took lead on stopping on various more hidden beauties around Iceland that provided a better experience in the country while we learned a ton of history, general culture trivia, and listened to a ton of Icelandic music The hotels were amazing, the food was exquisite and I traveled with my husband, mom and sister and we all felt super happy with the visits. I highly highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky enough to have Rocky as your guide, rest assured you’ll have the best time around Iceland you could ask for!!! You don’t come back from this tour tired, you come back with more hunger for Iceland and its beauty! 1000000000/10 no notes!

5.00It was a wonderful experience, the tour guide Hawk is friendly, patient and helpful. He even drove us out one night for northern light chasing in the wild, and we finally managed to see northern lights because of the that!

His passion for Iceland and deep knowledge of the country brought us so many unexpected surprises along the way. From fascinating stories about Icelandic history to fun and interesting facts about each destination, every day felt engaging and full of joy. 5.00Best Christmas I ever had in my life！Me and my friend jointed this 6 days tour and the guide Jón was really nice and professional.There was a weather warning about 23th and 24th，he managed to drive us all out of the area before the storm hit.And we were still able to happily visit the waterfall as plan.Anna in glacier hike was so lovely as well！I would like to go back to Iceland in summer time and will definitely choose Troll again!

5.00Iceland has the most dramatic landscapes, natural phenomena and the nicest people. This trip was well curated, the mini bus was comfortable with stable WiFi connection, USB ports and heating. The hotels we stayed in were clean, comfortable, spacious room by scandinavian and European standards, with comfy beds and clean linen. What an experience seeing the rifts between the tectonic plates, the geysers, the warm water lagoons, the Icelandic horses to the whales, the waterfalls.... At least one a day, the diamond beach and the Black beach, the basalt columns and the gorges!! And they even managed to arrange the most fantastic northern lights experience for us for hours on the last day of the 6 day trip. Thank you! Our guide and driver Gylfi was competent, very pleasant and accommodating. He always pointed out places to dine with recommendations in every town we stayed in. Thank you Gylfi... You brought it all together for us.

5.00"I had an incredible experience with Tröll Expeditions! Our guide, Rocky, was fantastic—he was so kind, had a great sense of humor, and made the whole group feel welcome. Most importantly, he is an excellent driver, and I felt very safe throughout the trip. He reminded us seat belts each before we went on the road. We were like a big family during this trip. The tour bus was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with free Wi-Fi and USB charging ports at every seat, which was so helpful for a long day of sightseeing. As for the scenery, the Icelandic landscape is absolutely splendid! I highly recommend this tour and Rocky to anyone visiting Iceland."
