At Camp Caucasus, you will have the pleasure of enjoying truly spectacular and diverse scenery from the lush green forests to lavish green alpine meadows, along with rivers and picturesque lakes and waterfall. We will spend a week at the heart of nature, warm up 12 km day hike to the waterfall and then 50 km 3-day up to 3000 m expedition will not leave you without craving for the next adventure, we promise! Also, we will discover unique culture by visiting ancient fortress on a horse, sleep in mountain shelters, enjoy local Georgian cuisine at a family-owned guesthouse, and having fun in cozy mountain city.

Ninoskhevi Waterfall
We will have a warm-up hike to the Big Waterfall (40m high). If weather allows we would be able to chill in the water and have a lunch there. In the evening we will prepare for the expedition: split team equipment with each other and pack. Nice evening meal and good night rest will pump us for the next 3 days. 12 hours , Admission included

Lagodekhi National Reserve
On the first day of the expedition we will hike 12 km through the forests and subalpine meadows, gain the height of around 1000m and stay in the first shelter for a night. Important: to have an ID or a passport is a must, as we will be trekking near the Russian border. 12 hours , Admission included

Lagodekhi National Reserve
The next day we will cover 16 km distance. Will hike through the alpine valley with breathtaking views towards the lake. If we’ll be lucky we can see animals like deer, chamois and wild goat; as well as various eagles, grouse and other birds. Our second shelter will be at 2800m altitude.

On our last day of the expedition, we will descend into the narrow gorges. The pathway will be quite rocky and steep, that will follow rug terrain through bushes and long grasses. We’ll get back to the start point - administration building, from where you’ll be transferred back to camp. Trekking distance - 15 km.

After trekking and well-deserved rest, we will enjoy 4-6 hours horse riding into the deep forests and along the river heading to the ruins of the medieval castle. If the weather allows we are taking there a picnic with a glass of wine.

We will finish our adventure with acclimatization to reality in small mountain city Sighnaghi, what also people call City of love, for its small streets of cozy houses and bridges. It is time to buy souvenirs, and celebrate the great adventure in a restaurant. We will close the day with grill party and home wine.

They were super well organised, really fun, outgoing people and made everyday a new adventure. 5.00Firstly, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Pavel and Nino. Thank you for organizing everything for us. Though the tour is a bit tough for the kid, he could finish the whole tour on his own. I am really pleased. I think Pavel is a responsible guide who offered us lots of help, and Nino helped to do every chores during the tour, that is really a tough work. This is kind of unforgettable tour for us, we will remember it at all times.
