  First time on safari and exceeded my expectations. Clare and the team at Jossec organised everything for us. We opted for mid range accommodation and the lodges were all fantastic. Although the migration had ended we saw so many animals and birds in the 3 parks we went to. A truly wonderful experience

  All in all it was a fantastic trip. Firstly I would like to say that Claire was so quick in responding to all our queries when we were planning the trip. She took all our requests into consideration initially & even during the trip. Our driver, Martin was an excellent driver. He made sure that we stopped at strategic points to see the animals & was so patient during the drives. He too considered all our requests & sometimes even spoke to the lodge staff to make us feel comfortable. All the lodges that we were out up in was excellent & unforgettable, with the exception of Kongoni Lodge at Naivasha. This lodge is definitely not recommended. As soon as we entered the property, it gave us a very eerie feeling & we felt very unsafe. In the wee hours of the morning we heard people chanting outside our window & felt very scared. It gave us a feeling of people doing some black magic not recommended at all.

  We have just returned from a 6-day safari with Jossec Safaris (Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli) and it was totally the trip of a lifetime! Claire was brilliant from the start in helping us to plan everything. She was responsive, patient, and listened carefully to what we wanted. Every last detail was planned out carefully and was perfectly timed. Our guide, Peter, was superb – polite, well-educated, and excellent at recognizing wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five at Maasai Mara, flamboyance and rhinos at Lake Nakuru, enjoyed a peaceful boat ride at Naivasha, and viewed the elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro at Amboseli. He made the whole journey so much more rewarding with his insight and commentary. The lodges were wonderful and well-placed, and the entire trip was easy, safe, and filled with memories that I will always cherish. Jossec Safaris exceeded our expectations at every level. If you are in the market for a tailored, professional Kenyan safari, you need not look further! Highly recommend – thanks Claire and Peter for making this so special!

  We're into our 6th day of our 8 days safari tour and so far it's been the adventure of a lifetime. Claire was responsive from day one of my inquiry and also managed to accommodate our last minute date changes due to the airlines' change in schedule, and during peak season too. Some of our original accommodation options were not available due to the last minute date change but Claire managed to slot us in to whichever accommodation was available, so that we could still do our full itinerary during the changed dates. Claire met us at the airport late at night upon our landing in Nairobi and later even accompanied us to the Nairobi National Park and Sheldrick Orphanage which I arranged through her company. I must say that having met her in person and learning a bit more about Kenyan life, it is truly empowering to see a woman run her own Safari Company in Kenya, and I would describe her as a hardworking and responsive tour agent, albeit slightly busy as she has to handle all ground arrangements on her own. Her guides love working with her; we've met 3, Joseph,John and of course our favourite Uncle Ben, which speaks volumes of her personality. Uncle Ben is like having your own relative show you around a new country. He is easy going, friendly and very knowledgeable about the animals and where to spot them. I think we've probably had in 1 safari trip sightings some people would need 3 or 4 safari trips to view (leopards dragging their kill up the tree, 6 lions feasting on their freshly killed wildebeest). Chatting with him about Kenya and the people and culture made the long safari drives go by easily. Word of advise, bring your travel neck pillows and blankets/shawls to snuggle up for a snooze in the Jeep, it will be long and bumpy rides but all worth it. He is also very considerate to other safari tourists, always making sure that although we had the best sightings of all the big 5 and more (and we had so many amazing ones), we also didn't hog the prime viewing spots too long and moved on to give other people the opportunity to view as well. We also had a ball of a time passing out candy to the village kids, and Uncle Ben trying to discipline them at the same time 😂. However as with all things Kenyan, a lot of things are a work in progress just like the country. For example newer resorts tend to have teething problems, electricity and internet shortages etc. but nothing too unbearable for us. This is beyond the Company's control, and is part of the experience when you're out in the wilderness. What really stands out is the personalities of the people behind the Company and their commitment to give you the best safari experience possible. We chose a mix of mid range and luxury accommodation for our safari and it has worked out well for us. So far the Sopa lodges are the most luxurious with the best food choice and best gift shops available. We also had the choice of how busy or relaxed we wanted our itinerary to be. Kudos to Claire and team for creating an authentic, real Kenyan Safari experience. If you're looking for pure 5 star luxe safari experience, this may not be the company for you. If you're looking for a warm, authentic, adventurous but safe safari at a decent price point and better than decent food (from an Asian perspective), look no further, Jossec, Claire and team will deliver on this.

  We had an amazing safari - the right mixture between adventure and relaxing! We saw all big five animals and our guide (Ben) was extremely competent, nice and pleasant to be around. Would definitely do the safari again!

  Our safari with Jossec Tours and Safaris was truly the experience of a lifetime! From the moment we were picked up in Nairobi, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. We chose the 6 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli 4X4 Jeep safari package, and every destination offered breathtaking views and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible sightings—from the Big Five in Masai Mara to the majestic elephants in Amboseli. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was great, and the itinerary was well-paced to allow us to enjoy every stop without feeling rushed. What really set Jossec Tours apart was their personal touch and genuine hospitality. Communication before and during the trip was prompt and clear, and they made sure we were safe and happy every step of the way.   I had a fantastic experience exploring Kenya with Jossec Safaris last month. From start to finish, everything was well organized and thoughtfully arranged. Our Masai Mara safari was a true highlight—staying at Jambo Mara Lodge, enjoying great food, and having a knowledgeable driver-guides (Brian and Daniel) with us the entire time made the trip truly special. The unlimited water and comfortable accommodations throughout were much appreciated. We also visited Nakuru National Park, Hell’s Gate, Naivasha Lakeview, and Amboseli National Park. Each destination was seamlessly planned, and we always felt well taken care of. Claire, the owner, was incredibly supportive, answering all our pre-trip questions and making sure our itinerary went exactly as planned.   We opted for a 7 day safari trip with Jossec in May 2025. It was initially planned as a 5 days trip however due to some flight changes, it turned into a 7 days trip. From planning the trip, payment and communication from beginning till completion of the trip - was very well organised by Claire. Claire was very responsive & helpful. She even assisted us when we had technical difficulty applying for our ETA kenya. The safari trip itself was great. We travelled in a land cruiser. We covered Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Navaisha (this one was impromptu, but decided to go for it with small additional pay), and Masai Mara. Distance between each locations were quite far, but we are glad that we visited them, as each of these locations came with their own perks (easier to spot different wildlife at different spots). Hotels were great, accomodation were comfortable & food choices at the hotels were great. Our guide/driver, Ben was experienced, making sure that we had good experience & able to spot the wildlife throughout the journey. We were able to see all The Big Five.   Eye opening and amazing trip. We didnt know a eVisa was needed, by the time we applied was too late. However, Clarie from Jossec Tours were able to to escalate our urgent request and got our visa sent to us before we reach Kenya. The whole trip was very relax and chill. Objective of seeing the big five was met. I am truly surprised by the driver, the knowledge he had! He shares with us Kenyan lifestyle, animals and etc. We did request that we want local food, and ben did! We will really grateful that he went extra mild to our request. Jossec will be my choice for Kenya trip!
