This group adventure is the perfect way to sample canoe tripping, without camping overnight. There is challenging paddling (8-16km), tranquil drifting, portaging (600m), hiking (1.5km), cliff jumping (if you want), swimming, a scenic lookout, historic landmarks, wild edibles (in season), spectacular landscapes and wildlife observation (usually birds, butterflies, turtles & small mammals; periodic moose & larger mammals).
Our canoes are all custom made 4 seaters, convenient for families and making new friends. These lightweight kevlar boats are easy to carry (solo or tandem) over the short portage.
Lunch is a fabulous sandwich from Henrietta's Pine Bakery. We also serve a granola bar snack. Participants must bring at least 2L of water.
Our naturalist guides have only the highest levels of training and certification. They ensure a safe, educational and intimate connection to Algonquin Park. We provide high quality trip photos (via Facebook only).

It was a very entertaining canoe trip, very feasible for beginners and much more exciting than normal hikes in Algonquin Park. I would repeat at any time. Our guide Diego was also very entertaining, funny and could explain a lot to us.

Thanks to our guide Diego, we were able to experience Canada in the most beautiful way: by canoe through the beautiful landscape of Algonquin Park with informative stops and wildlife observations.

Although I was previously very unsure if you could join this tour as a beginner, I really liked the tour! The route was beautiful, the troupe and the guide very nice. For my taste, he could have told a little more. From the viewpoint we had a beautiful view of the lake and forests. The sandwich was delicious. All in all highly recommended!

Immersed completely in nature the guide will take you to visit some very beautiful and heavenly spots. The sandwich for lunch was delicious. When you went in search of the Elk and 'was something really unique .. paradise. Too bad we spent only 5 minutes and could not see them. Frankly, I would have preferred to spend more time there hoping to see them. It 's still a complete experience, you paddle (lots), walk, dive, swim... spectacular

The canoe trip through this wonderful national park area was great. Our guide Diego provided us with a lot of interesting information. We had a lot of fun, raced, had a picnic and jumped off rocks into the water. It was great!

Awesome time! Guides were amazing…lots of nature and history info. View was stunning! Paddling was moderate exercise. Hike up trail to lunch was more challenging but doable! Loved the trip!!
