5.00Although we took this tour 6 months ago, we want to thank Sadiq for an excellent tour during our very long layover in Doha, flying from New Delhi to New York In February 2020. It was a private tour for two of us, with one needing a wheelchair. Although we were scheduled to start at 3:00 pm, it gets dark in Doha at 5 o'clock. Sadiq agreed to start earlier at 2 o'clock. He got wheelchairs at both major museums, and he helped push the wheelchair on a 90 minute guided tour of the National Museum - a very big help! And unlike many guided tours, we had a chance to get to know him as a person and learn about his family and work in Qatar. A wonderful gentleman!

5.00We highly recommend this city tour that is a combination walking tour and drive around Doha cityscapes. Sidiq, our guide, was excellent, and we would encourage asking for him when you book. Sidiq gave us a well curated introduction to many important sites including the new National Museum ( a must-see), the Cultural Center, including the Blue Mosque, and the stunning Museum of Islamic Art. Sidiq lead us through the Souk and along the waterfront, all interpreted by a knowledgeable and professional guide. A day in Doha as a cruise stop we will long remember.
