Arrive by flight at Jaipur. Welcome to the Pink City - Jaipur, famous for its broad avenues, massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and royal culture. Check-in at the hotel and relax. In the evening head out for a guided walk-tour of Pink City market. Jaipur is also known as the shopper’s paradise. Jaipur's colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on your tour. Take in the glint and sparkle of the rows of shops selling hand-crafted bangles and other decoration items. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Amber Palace
After breakfast set out to explore the best attractions of Jaipur. Visit Hawa Mahal, a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Then visit Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, and completed in 1738 CE. Afterwards, visit the City Palace. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during the years 1729 to 1732, the vast complex of the palace occupied one-seventh of the walled city. In the afternoon stop by Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. Then visit the grand Amer Fort (or Amber Fort), the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur and the current structure was built during the late 16th century by Rajput Kings. In the evening visit Nahargarh Fort, which provides a beautiful bird's eye view of the entire Jaipur city. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan. It is a reminiscence of the bygone era. It is also called the “Blue City” as it looks completely blue in color from an aerial view because of its vividly painted blue walls and blue houses. Its mighty Mehrangarh fort overlooking the city is an architectural masterpiece in itself, and is among one of the largest forts in Rajasthan. Jaswant Tada and Umaid Bhawan Palace are also among the top attractions in Jodhpur. Because of its proximity to Thar Desert, it is also known as "Gateway to Thar". Reach Jodhpur by evening. Check-in at the hotel on arrival and relax. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Mehrangarh Fort
After breakfast set out to explore Jodhpur. Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, regally set on a sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Rising perpendicular and impregnable from a rocky hill that itself stands 120m above Jodhpur’s skyline. Afterwards, visit Jaswant Thada – the milky-white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, sitting above a small lake 1 km northeast of Mehrangarh, is an array of whimsical domes. It serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar. The cenotaph is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. In the afternoon visit the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace, a marvel built by Maharaja Umaid Singh of Rathore Dynasty. It was the last royal palace built before the Independence of India. Its foundations were laid in 1929 and completed in 1943. Today it is part palace, part hotel, and part museum. In the evening visit the local market. Later return to the hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Udaipur - the “City of Lakes”. A fusion of nature, Rajasthani culture & architecture, the picturesque view of the city shouts the story of its past glory. Often referred to as the 'Venice of the East', the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is surrounded by lush green hills of Aravalli Ranges. On the way visit one of the most significant and extensive Jain temple complexes that can be found in the country, the Ranakpur Jain Temple. It holds immense importance for all Jains. Spread over an area of 4,500 square yards and consisting of 29 halls, the temple is one of the most important of the five major pilgrimage centers of Jainism. The Ranakpur Temple is distinguished all across the globe for its brilliant architecture and was voted amongst the top 77 wonders of the world. Reach Udaipur by evening. Check-in at the hotel. After breakfast head out for local sightseeing. Visit Fateh Sagar Lake (one of the most beautiful lake in Udaipur). Then visit the Sahelion ki Badi, which was laid for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. Afterwards, visit City Palace Complex. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, atop a hill, in a fusion of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, providing a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Then visit Bagore-ki-Haveli, a historic haveli (mansion) that stands magnificently on the waterfront of the surreal Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Then enjoy a sunset boat cruise (shared) at Lake Pichola. In the evening enjoy the Dharohar Folk Dance Show at Bagore-ki-Haveli. See Rajasthani folk dancing, with nightly shows of colorful, energetic Marwari, Bhil and western Rajasthani dances, as well as traditional Rajasthani puppetry. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur.

5.00We booked a tour of Rajasthan with Bout India in October 2024. We had never been to India before and were initially unsure about whether to contact an agency or arrange the trip ourselves. A friend recommended Bout India if we wanted to give a travel agency a try, and we're so grateful we did because we would never have managed to organize such a wonderful trip on our own. From the start, the staff at Bout India were very professional and attentive. Over email, Pinki helped us to arrange a personalized itinerary that made sense with our timing, budget, and what we wanted to see and do. She provided suggestions and feedback on our proposed modifications to the standard Rajasthan trip to make sure we got the most out of our time as possible. During the course of our trip we visited Agra, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. The Taj Mahal was well worth the extra travel day, a stunning and unforgettable tribute even more impressive and moving in real life. We also particularly enjoyed our tour in Jaisalmer, where our guide took us to a local chai walla and showed us the back streets in the fort. Our favorite hotel was the Ratan Villas in Jodhpur, which was both relaxing and luxurious, especially for the price range. The sightseeing days were packed, but impeccably organized so that all our energy could go into enjoying the sights and not worrying about the scheduling. Our drivers, Shankar and Sonaram, were gracious, calm, and accommodating, always available to help with finding water, restaurants, or whatever else we needed on a given day. An extra shout-out to Sonaram for coming to pick us up from the sand dunes near Jaisalmer when we needed an unplanned ride! Chahat took excellent care of us during our entire trip, and was extremely responsive to our needs. We're still especially grateful that, when we had to rebook our flights at the last minute due to food poisoning, she arranged accommodations for one more night at a hotel close to the airport and even called the staff to ask to them to clean a room for us early. In a nice personal touch, she and other Bout India staff invited us to dinner in Jaipur to give feedback on the experience so far and to meet other guests who were traveling with the agency. Finally, the city tour guides were all of high quality, accommodating and knowledgable, and also indispensible for communicating with drivers and locals. Each of the guides was a local from the respective city, which gave us even more perspective and insight into life in the different regions. They really made us feel welcome and answered our many questions thoughtfully and in detail. Overall, we would highly recommend Bout India for arranging a tour. Thanks to the hard work of everyone there, we had a fun (and educational) experience we will long remember.

5.00Bout Tour India was definitely an excellent choice to organize our trip to India. They were always very kind and replied immediately to our requests. They were also extremely professional in checking if everything was moving adequately. Their guides are nice and well-trained, and our driver was phenomenal. Overall the tour was beautiful, we stayed in good hotels and their restaurant recommendations were good. I would absolutely recommend this agency!

5.00Rajistan was spectacular as well as the hotels we stayed at- we opted for the comfort level and really they places felt like luxury. Bout india was gracious in greeting us as well as keeping in touch with us through the whole tour. They were able to quickly and Efficiently handle any problems or questions. Tour went very smoothly and we got to pack in a lot within a short amount of time. We will definitely be using Bout India again!

5.00We had a wonderful vacation to Rajasthan planned by Himanshu and Bout Travels. His staff were very helpful and responsive. The guides in each city were kind, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. The driver who ferried us between cities was kind and helpful. We had a fabulous vacation and would definitely use this company again! Highly recommend them!! Only regret is we never got to meet Himanshu in person :-(
