We honestly could not recommend this tour and Juan Carlos more ! We had an amazing time in the jungle, with a group of 6 people, on the 7 days - 6 nights tour! Our chef Luis did a great job cooking different meals everyday and surprising us on many occasions. Juan Carlos is a truly friendly, passionate, knowledgeable guide, with infinite stamina and motivation to explore the jungle to increase our chances to see wildlife, with an excellent level of English and a flawless communication! He was really above and beyond to offer us the best possible experience. We felt very grateful and lucky to have him as a guide! Also: if he tells you to get up early to increase your chances to see wildlife, listen to him 😉 Might be painful in the moment, but in our case, he was always right and it was 100% worth it ! The accommodations were surprisingly comfortable (considering how remote we go), a lot more than we expected, and the organization was smooth and flawless ! Finally, our boat captain and boat assistant, Ernesto and Mike, did a great job bringing us home safe, and also spotting animals with their condor's vision !

We really enjoyed our 7d/6n trip into Manu! Very well organised, good food and our guide Juan Carlos was super knowlegeable. A special shoutout goes to our boat driver Jonathon who was a complete star, not only with reading the rivers which in places were not at all straigtforward to navigate but also being able to spot wildlife at the same time. Yes, the boat journeys are long, but getting to up Cocha Salvador and down to Blanquillo and Camungo more than made it worthwhile, there were well planned stops to break the journey and plenty to see and do along the way. It's never easy spotting wildlife in rainforest environments but we saw plenty, both by day and at night. The journey through the cloud forest on the first couple of days was fantastic, as was the return from Puerto Carlos over the mountains. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

The best trip we had in Peru. This was quite alluring tour as we visitedthe areas deep in the Peruvian Amazon jungle and also spotted several animals and bird species. The early morning boat ride to see Macaws clay lick was truly the highlight of the trip. Carlos is an exceptional tour guide and shares many interesting things with us. The group was quite small two of us among other couples so it was nice to get personal attention throughout the trip. The package included transfers from Cusco to Manu although the ride was somewhat long but well planned with several stops along the way to stretch our feet and use restrooms. All in all this was incredibly the best trip and I can totally reccomend this.
