In 930 the Icelandic Parliament, the first democracy in the world, was established at Thingvellir. Thingvellir became a World Heritage Site in 2004. We walk to Öxarárfoss waterfall.

From the get-go, Travelling Iceland, particularly Helga, was phenomenal. Traveling Iceland helped us have a wonderful trip to Iceland. It gave us a glimpse of the life and beauty of the island. Such a great experience! Helga and Sigrún were amazing. We saw and did so much in 7 days … it was truly magical. So recommend them when visiting Iceland. You won’t regret it!!

Touring Iceland is definitely a class act.Well researched and routed. Not only did we see all the spectacular sights there are to see in the south island, but a taste of culture, geology, history, myths and legends and expertise that would be difficult to rival anywhere. Dr Helga and Sigru’n were nothing short of spectacular and entertaining! I couldn’t have picked better tour guides to fulfill my trip of a lifetime with. Every single experience and opportunity to explore was just better than the next! This was a 5 star curation and experience. Thank you!

We had a lovely time visiting Iceland. As we didn’t hire a car Helga’s customised tours ensured that we managed to see all of Iceland sights including going beyond the itinerary to take us to the beautiful Diamond beach. We started as customers but parted as friends- beautifully run tours of small sizes so as personalised as you would like and value for money at the same time.
