We spent an amazing week exploring all things Vampire and Dracula from Bucharest to Transylvania and back. Being huge history and Dracula fans, this tour was everything we hoped for and more. In addition to the fun and amazing Dracula lore and legends, we learned so much about the history and culture of Romania and its beautiful regions. The stunning and inspiring castles were some of the highlights, including a visit to the infamous Bran Castle, where we were able to arrange a special and personal gothic ceremony prior to our marriage! The tour was unforgettable, and our guide Andrei became much more than a knowledgeable, helpful and fun companion--he became our friend as well.

I can't praise this tour or the staff at Transylvania Live too highly. The itinerary was comprehensive and the schedule well-paced. Our guide, Robert, was terrific, providing substantial information, answering questions knowledgeably, and keeping up good spirits throughout. He put himself out for the party and made great efforts to get us to locations at the best times (particularly an early start at Peles Castle and a rush against the traffic to get to Turda Salt Mine - both well-worth the efforts). This was one of the best tours I've been on - the scheduled sites visited were varied and all fascinating, with unexpected extra ones providing fun and surprises. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best tours available. The staff at Transylvania Live were very helpful, and our driver (Andrei) was incredible, he had a history degree. Excellent hotels, wonderful food, and everyone was so friendly. The sheer variety of the experience was worth it. The trip was flexible, accommodating, and so much fun. Pictures galore and memories to last a lifetime.
