Encanto Azul

After breakfast, around 08:00, we will board the vehicle and travel 114 km of paved road and 21 km of land road. Around 10:00, we will start on a land road to the Charm Blue, a beautiful spring with the crystal blue water with a very pleasant temperature and ideal for the practice of floating.

Around 12:00, we will go to the Restaurant of the Santa Barbara Complex. After resting, around 14:00, we will make an ecological trail and pass through the Cachoeira dos Namorados, Cachoeira Santa Paula, Cachoeira do Moreno and Cachoeira Santa Bárbara until we arrive at the Blue Poço, where we can take a bath. Around 16:00, we will return to the hostel. Expected arrival in Carolina at 18:00. Free dinner.

Today the day will start very early, we will wake around 4:00 in the morning, to be in the vehicle at 4:20, because our goal is to contemplate the sunrise in one of the main postcards of Chapada, the Portal da Chapada. After this show we will return for coffee in the guest house.

Around 9:00, we will continue to the Garrote Waterfall and Porteira Waterfall, but between a waterfall and another, we have beautiful places like the Sonrisal Poço, the Youth Pozo and the Meirim Pozo, with crystal clear, bubbling and thermal waters reminiscent of hydromassage baths. Shortly thereafter, around 13:00, we will depart for lunch.At about 2:30, we'll head to Carolina.

Around 15:00, we will take a walk aboard the Tocantins River, we will go to the Pedra Encantada, where we can swim and contemplate a breathtaking landscape! This walk is surprising. On the way, we will contemplate the most spectacular sunset of our lives, all in the river Tocantins. Return to the Pousada at 18:30. Free dinner.

After breakfast around 08:00, we will board the 4x4 vehicle and make a 27Km drive from paved road to the entrance of Chapada das Mesas-PNCM National Park and we will travel another 55Km by land road to the São Romão Waterfall. Around 10:30 we will be able to contemplate the largest waterfall in volume in the state of Maranhão, and take a bath in the waters of the River Farinha.

About 12:30, we'll have lunch. After lunch, around 13:45, we will embark on the vehicle, we will travel 20Km of land road until we arrive at the Cascades of the Silver, after a period of contemplation and a fresh bath in its waters, we will return to the guesthouse, with an arrival expected at 18:00, in Carolina. Free dinner.

Chapada Das Mesas Expedicoes

Around 5:40, we will board the vehicle and continue to have coffee at the Cafe da Ivone. Right after the coffee we will go out to practice the Guardians Trail. We will make a hike of 7.5 Km passing through phytophysiomies such as Cerrado Campo Limpo and Mata Ciliar. In this drive, we will climb one of the most incredible tables of Chapada, which provides us with breathtaking landscapes!!! On the way, we will pass through the Eye of Horus and the Surf Stone, two very interesting and little explored points in Chapada. Later on, we will arrive at Nascente Azul, a place of rare beauty to contemplate and refresh in a well up to 3 m deep. After walking the last Kms of the trail, we will arrive at Cachoeira do Tapuí to swim, refresh and for those who want to receive a waterfall massage.

Around 13:00, we will continue for lunch and soon after lunch, around 14:00, we will meet a single waterfall in size, but intimidating in volume of water, the Waterfall of the Mansinha with a power to revitalize our astral. About 16:00, return to Carolina. Free dinner.

After breakfast, around 8:30, we will board the vehicle for a 30-minute drive to the Complex of the Fallen Stone. Around 9:30, we will begin our visit to Cachoeira da Caverna and Cachoeira do Capelão, which bears this name due to the constant visit of the primate of the same name.

Around noon we will go for lunch at a local restaurant typical of Maranhão, in the encounter of the waters. At approximately 13:30, we will return for the visitation of the Santuario Cachoeira, the journey consists of a 600m walk by palafitas on an ecological trail, and then we will walk between two walls of friable sandstone, where constantly runs water, these walls date back to more than 60 million years, which form a canyon with approximately 50m high. After a period of rest, we can carry out some adventure activity, which can be the cable car or Church Trail and the Tyrolese of Despair with 1,400m (not included). At 16:30, we will return to the Pousada.

On this last day of expedition we consider that you will depart from Carolina to Imperatriz-MA. The average travel time is 03:00, until we arrive at Imperatriz and 00:20 to the airport.
