Your safari adventure commences with a 7 AM pickup from your Nairobi accommodation or from the Airport, embarking on a scenic drive towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. At 7AM after breakfast, drive from Masai Mara as you depart for the next leg of your journey to Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, check in for lunch and afternoon relaxation at your lodge before embarking on an evening game drive from 3PM with our experienced guide. The park is home to one of the largest concentrations of black rhinos in East Africa as well as a significant population of white rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was established in part to protect these endangered species from poaching and habitat loss making it a crucial sanctuary for rhino conservation efforts. Discover the park's diverse landscapes from wooded grasslands to the shimmering lake shores, In addition to flamingos, Lake Nakuru is a haven for birdwatchers with over 450 bird species recorded within the park and other wildlife species. As the sun sets over the horizon, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest recounting the day's thrilling encounters amidst the beauty of Nakuru.

Start the day with breakfast before departing Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha. Optionally, embark on a tour of Hell's Gate National Park at an additional cost, exploring its rugged landscapes and unique geological formations. Arrive at Lake Naivasha for lunch at your lodge or camp followed by an afternoon of relaxation. In the evening, discover Lake Naivasha where you can have an optional tranquil boat ride and nature walk experience amidst the serene waters and lush vegetation. Lake Naivasha is home to a large population of hippos which can often be seen basking along the shores or swimming in the shallow waters. A boat safari will offer you the opportunity to observe these massive mammals up close along with other wildlife such as zebras, giraffes and many other antelope species that come to the lake to drink. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Along the way, soak in the changing landscapes and anticipate the wildlife encounters awaiting you. At 4 PM, embark on an exciting evening game drive safari with our experienced guide. The park is home to some of the largest elephants in Kenya making it a prime destination for elephant enthusiasts and researchers. Each place was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by stunning nature. A very special mention to our guide, Zachary, who was truly exceptional! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every game drive unforgettable. Thanks to him, we learned so much about the animals and local culture, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended to anyone planning a safari in Kenya!

Zachary was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information about the animals, the landscapes, and the local people. He was always well-prepared and handled every situation calmly and professionally – we truly felt like “we made it” together every time. Zachary always found the best spots for viewing and photographing animals, so we had countless amazing experiences. The company’s organization was flawless – everything went smoothly and exactly as promised. The whole team was very flexible, helpful, and friendly. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end – we highly recommend this company to everyone, and we would definitely choose them again for our next safari!

From our very first email until the end of the tour, everything went smoothly, and we truly had an unforgettable experience. Our driver and guide, Zachary, was exceptional. He always managed to find the best spots to see the animals and made sure we didn’t miss anything. His knowledge about the wildlife and the surroundings was impressive, and he shared it with great enthusiasm. Zachary went above and beyond every single day to ensure we had the best possible experience — he handled every situation professionally and made our trip truly memorable. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was also excellent. I highly recommend Explorers Wild Adventures to anyone looking for a fantastic safari experience. If I ever return, I will definitely choose them again — and I’ll be asking for Zachary!

5.00We just got back from a 7-day safari with Explorers and the experience has been nothing short of fascinating. From start to finish, everything was meticulously arranged and the itinerary allowed us to explore the best of Kenya’s breathtaking wildlife. Every day brought new highlights, from sunrise game drives in the Masai Mara to the serene beauty of Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. Communication with Johann was top-notch. He was incredibly responsive, reliable and informative throughout the entire planning process and even during the trip. Whether it was answering our many questions or adjusting small details along the way, Johann was always available and willing to help. You can tell he is highly experienced and genuinely passionate about ensuring we have the best safari experience possible. The selection of lodges was absolutely perfect, each one offering unique charm, comfort and excellent service. From tented camps in the heart of the wild to lodges with stunning views and amazing meals, the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Our driver guide, Henry, was outstanding. His knowledge of the parks, animals and local culture enriched every drive. His calm and confident driving, especially through some challenging terrain, made us feel safe and comfortable at all times. Henry was always patient, enthusiastic and seemed to have a sixth sense for finding wildlife, we spotted the Big Five and so much more all thanks to him. This was a once in a lifetime trip and we’re incredibly grateful to Explorers Wild for making it so memorable.

5.00Jambo (Hello) and Asante (Thank You) from the Philippines for the wild and magical adventures we had during the 7 days safari. My 2 nephews and I really enjoyed the experience and one of the key elements was our very experienced and knowledgeable guide, Zachary. He knows where to find the animals and he was also well connected with the other guides as well as the park rangers. Sometimes we even go off road just to be able to see animals in their daily activities. A vivid memory is when we saw a cheetah having his lunch a gazelle, which Zachary found after going into the bush. He had to ask approval from the rangers to go offroad on this. Booking luxury for the accommodation was a wise decision as the lodges we were housed were quite big for the 3 of us, and the amenities were quite complete. All the lodges which we stayed had swimming pools which was a help after a full day in the safari. These lodges also have spas which offered a lot of relaxing services. Also, the buffet spread from breakfast to dinner were quite sumptuous and the choices were varied. The icing on the top of the cake for our experience was really the hospitability of the Kenyans during the entire safari, from Zachary and the Logistics Manager of the tour agency, the Maasai Tribe people, the employees of the lodges, and to the people we met in the parks. The warm smiles and vivacious personalities made our days more meaningful. We are now ambassadors in our country in promoting Kenya as a travel destination so that our fellow Filipinos can also experience the magic of wildlife!

5.00The experience was with our Driver, Joseph, excellent in spotting and educational advice and best was the watering holes at Amboseli and seeing all the game and really well looked after! The whole company from when booked back in 2021 was excellent in communication, advice and adaptable to changes. We had an excellent guide, Joesph. He was like informative and very good. Amboseli and Tsavo East mid range lodges were great! Amboseli- watering holes and lakes in the game drives were excellent to see the game, Elephant, hippo, water buffaloes and flamingos etc.. He took us late in the day where saw the environs in excellent light! And made some great photos, and the evening came too! We would travel with these guys again for sure!
