Victoria Falls

Guests should be in Victoria Falls Village at least one day before the first day of the raft trip as pre-departure briefings are held one day prior. Guests should have breakfast at their hotel prior to pick up at 9 am to our office where the river safety briefing is held. The first part of any rafting experience is very much a learning exercise followed by Swimming Under The Spry Of The Victoria Falls, however today there is no gradual build up; this 28 km stretch on day one is by far the wildest section of river that will be covered on the 3-day trip including many class 5 rapids.

We rise as the sun illuminates the towering walls above, to the smell of bacon and eggs on the fire. Then, with all the equipment once more stowed securely for the voyage down stream, and a long day ahead of us , we cast off into a world of exhilarating action and scenes of remarkable beauty.

Its another hard working day portaging around Moemba Falls which is a class 6 rapid. We will then raft 2 rapids before we arrive at the Dam site around 11 am where we will have the second portage then start that long walk to the top of the canyon ice cold soft drinks and beers will be waiting. Our lunch will served on our way back to town which will take about two hours drive.

Chobe National Park

Clients gets transferred from Victoria falls to Botswana lodge dropping their bags before proceeding to the river where they will spend the morning viewing game along the Chobe River. The morning cruise ends at around 12:30 p.m, and clients are then taken to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch at no extra charge. After lunch, clients board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where they will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife without any rush as you will spend the night in Chobe. After their game drive, they are taken back to the lodge for the check in.

2 hrs guided tour of the Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls tours can be experienced differently in various circumstances of the year. From April to July, the Falls are full and breathtaking, as they are at their peak flow. They make an amazing wall of water and visitors are sure to get wet as they walk through the thick rainforest from the spray. Photos are somewhat trickier to get from the ground at this time of year. For the best game viewing, plan your tours in Victoria Falls from late August to the end of December. During this drier period, the wildlife is far more visible in the bush; the water flow of the fall diminishes and the rocky cliff can seen better.
