The tour to the cocoa plantation was a real highlight. Our German-speaking guide with Spanish-speaking owners guided through the plantation with a lot of knowledge and passion. We were allowed to taste fresh cocoa beans, make chocolate ourselves, chocolate drink, and learned a lot about the cultivation and importance of cocoa. Afterwards have a nice lunch and still bathe in a beautiful waterfall. A great experience in the middle of nature – warm, informative and delicious!

Was a really great tour! We learned so much from the guide and host family! Got to see coffee berries growing, and to follow the chocolate-making process from cacao fruit through to the dried beans that we shelled, cooked, and ground into a delicious paste. Lunch and the waterfall were an added bonus!

This is the second tour we book with Tamara, we are simply speechless... The nature, the people and the way we are welcomed everywhere is simply priceless. We would like to thank the Sticos team for the wonderful experiences.
