After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator and proceed to Samburu National Reserve which is located in a rugged semi desert region. Lunch . Afternoon game drives. Samburu Game Reserve is home to some of the rare wildlife species including the Beisa oryx, Reticule Giraffes, Masai Ostrich and the Gravy’s zebras.

After breakfast, head out for a full day of game viewing drive in this dry semi-arid park with its striking background view of the Mathew’s Range. The surrounding terrain is renowned for rare game, -long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx. Leopard is the frequent passer-by. Drive through the gently flowing Uaso Nyiro river which traverses this Park provides evergreen vegetation for the wildlife found in this park. Game drives and bird watching safaris are the ideal way to experience the native wildlife in its natural splendor.

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile.

5.00Our 7-day private safari through Aberdare National Park, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Masai Mara National Reserve was absolutely amazing. Every destination offered something unique — from the beautiful forest scenery in Aberdare to the incredible wildlife sightings in Samburu and the Masai Mara. We saw lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and so much more. The guide was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the experience smooth and enjoyable throughout the trip. The accommodations were comfortable, the game drives were well organized, and the views were unforgettable. Even though there were some long drives between parks, the experience was completely worth it. This safari was well planned and gave us the perfect mix of adventure, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kenya for the first time!.
