Rhino Fund Uganda

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, your guide driver meets & greets. Shortly after briefing transfer to the Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife ranch. On arrival you will go rhino tracking to experience 1/5 African big five on foot. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was Established in 2005 to re-introduce Southern White Rhinos in the wild, the sanctuary is the only place in the Uganda, where one can observe these endangered creatures in the wild Have a leisurely lunch in the sanctuary with chances of rhinos bouncing back to find you at the restaurant in the sanctuary & or other wildlife like antelopes & warthogs that in most cases are grazing around the sanctuary restaurant and late in the afternoon transfer to Masindi for an overnight at Masindi Kolping Hotel or similar.

Budongo Forest Chimpanzee Tracking

Early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Budongo Forest for chimpanzee tracking. As you go chimpanzee trekking, you will be guided by ranger guides who are skilled and knowledgeable about these primates. During the trekking, you'll also be able to see various tree species like mahogany, monkeys like vervet, olive monkeys, snakes & birds can also be spotted. Afterwards, proceed to the famous Murchison Falls to get a better experience of Victoria Nile forcing herself into a narrow crevice before pouring her water into a 43 meter deep. Afterward proceed to Paraa and if time allows have a game drive as you proceed on to the lodge. Overnight at Gipir & Labongo Safari Lodge or similar.

Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison falls in Murchison Falls National Park are very impressive & spectacular falls. After the rhino trekking, proceed to the top of the falls for the best viewing spot which you would spend like 1-2 hours and thereafter proceed to the murchison falls for a little game drive before checking in to the lodge

Wake up for an early morning sumptuous breakfast so that intrepid explorers can begin with an early game drive in the peninsula between the Victoria & Lake Albert Nile. Catch the highest concentration of wildlife in the wilds of Murchison Falls. After lunch take a magnificent boat cruise to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. The earth literally trembles to one of the world most powerful falls of natural water while crocodiles soak up the sun with their vast jaws menacingly agape before return to the lodge. Kidepo Valley National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will start your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival in Kidepo Valley National Park, if time allows you will begin with an evening game drive. Kidepo Valley National Park harbours a lot of wildlife that can’t be found elsewhere in Uganda making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in the country. This national park is still a virgin and has a lot to offer to tourists. Overnight at Kidepo Savanna Lodge or similar

After early morning breakfast, you will start your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival in Kidepo Valley National Park, if time allows you will begin with an evening game drive. Kidepo Valley National Park harbours a lot of wildlife that can’t be found elsewhere in Uganda making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in the country. This national park is still a virgin and has a lot to offer to tourists. Overnight at Kidepo Savanna Lodge or similar

Kidepo Valley National Park

After early morning breakfast, we will set off for a 2 to 3 hours morning game drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. It’s one of the place in Uganda that most cats like lions, cheetahs & leopards can be seen compared to other Savannah parks. The guides concentration will be focus on cats though provisional for allowing time on other big games is considered. Return to the hotel for lunch & relax as we wait for the afternoon activity. In the afternoon, we will briefly visit the Karamojong for a cultural trail and have another afternoon game drive that is packed with lots of wildlife. Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Kidepo Valley National Park

Another full day of game drive to the kidepo valley & the hot springs that are found towards the Ugandan border with South Sudan. Highlights of the day will be ostrich birds, hot springs and other animals in the park. Return back to the lodge marking the end of the day. Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

Gulu

After breakfast, you be joined by the local community guide to offer you with traditional Kalamojongo experience and this will be followed by a transfer to Gulu City. The Kalamojong culture is one of the richest cultural heritage you ought to experience while in Uganda. Kalamojong people are similar to Masai people of kenya & Tanzania described by their pastoral activities. They have range of traditional instruments like jewelry, spears, stools, bows, knives & beads. Overnight at Acholi Inn or similar.

Entebbe Crafts Village

After a leisurely morning breakfast, you will begin the journey south back to Kampala bringing the 8 Day Kidepo Valley NP & Murchison Falls NP Budget Tour to an end. The guide will drop you at your planned hotel in Kampala or entebbe & or transfer to the airport targeting for your outbound flight.
