Jerash Ruins

Jerash Day Trip Drive north from Amman to Jerash, widely regarded as the best-preserved Roman provincial city in the Middle East. Explore its grand Forum, colonnaded streets, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis, marveling at the scale and elegance of ancient Roman urban design. (Optional lunch can be arranged on-site.) After the visit, return to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.

Next, visit Kerak, home to the impressive Crusader castle built in 1132–34 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem. After exploring the fortress, continue to Petra for check-in and overnight stay.
