Our small group of 16 was met by Tracy at Xi’An train station from Beijing. This was the second part of our tour in China. Tracy was super organized with checking us all in and out of the hotel with minimal wait time. She navigated us through the Terracotta Army Museum and the big/small wild pagodas like a pro. The visit to the muslim area was amazing and the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with an evening meal of dumplings was a wonderful end to a perfect day. My highlight was the Tai-Chi class and the Terracotta warrior moulding class. Tracy was very kind and patient. Her knowledge was astounding and she took photos to make sure that our tour in Xi’an was truly enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend this tour company and hope that you are lucky to get Tracy as your guide.

We visited Xi'an during two days with Lola. We went to the terra-cotta museum, and the giant wild goose pagoda. Terra-cotta museum was a really busy place, but Lola gave us earphones and we could ear her explanations very well! We also made our own little clay soldiers, and it was funny, it is a great souvenir to bring back home. The second day, we went to the muslim market and mosquee. Lola was very patient when we were negociating prices at every stand. I'd like to spend more days in Xi'an, this city looks very nice !!

We visited Xi'an as part of our personalized 8-city tour of China. Our guide, Tracy first took to Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the surrounding areas. Impressing how the engineers of the past were able to build such a tall building. Next, we visited the Terracotta site. Amazed at the size of the place. It is not just one building but a collection of buildings housing the warriors. The place was fairly crowded but with Tracy as a guide, we were able to move around fairly easily. And we got to meet one of the farmers who first unearth the Terracotta! At Tracy's recommendation we also watch the Silk Road Show. Real camels and wolves (dogs) were part of the show! Illustrates the ancient silk road very well. Impressive. Highly recommend visiting Xi'an and having Tracy as a guide. Wish we could stay an extra day or two!
