• Best experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Nafika tour!

  We booked our Kilimanjaro tour with Nafika and this was the best decision we made. We decided to climb via the Lemosho route 8 days, which was our second best decision. Our guide Benson came to pick us up the day before the trecking journey began, so that we can rent all the stuff we needed in an outdoor store. He helped us pick the good clothes and gear and that was so precious to know that we had the proper clothes, even more for the summit night. We meet the rest of our team (assistant guide, chef, porters etc …) the morning of the next day, before heading to the gate. We couldn’t expect to have a better team than this one. Everyone was smiling and made us the most confortable that we could get. We were so amazed by the organisation. It is hard to realize how the chef is preparing these delicious meals in the national park, in these altitudes … All the tents, dinning table, toilet were ready everyday when we were arriving on camps after hiking … this is 5 stars organisation ! We are also conviced that we had the best guides ( Benson & Efata ) during the treck. We learned few sentences of Swahili, learned a lot about the nature of the park and the mountain environnement. The guides always had something to teach us, everyday! During summit night, they were singing for us during the whole climb while we were struggling to fall asleep. They were the only ones doing this and this gave us so much motivation. Nafika is a local company and we could really feel the difference. We even got some tea breaks at halfway of the hike almost every day, this is luxuary 🙏 Elias, Nafika’s boss is very responsive and will answer all the question that you could have before arriving. I will recomand Nafika 100% to anyone that is planning to climb Kilimanjaro.

  We just got back from climbing Kilimanjaro lemosho route 8 days and can say that we’ve had the time of our lives with Nafika Tours. 🙏🏽 Food: chef Arnold was AMAZING and cooked great food to keep us fuelled during the week. Even made pizza once, which was a wonderful surprise. Tent and gear: the tents and sleeping bag provided were wonderful, lots of space, and we had a table with tea/coffee + condiments always set up in our chilling area which we enjoyed alot! We also had a private toilet included and this made all the difference for our trip. Our guides: Benson and Efata are truly special guys, we will remember our week with them for the rest of our lives. They had such great energy, and because of them, i had a smile on my lips almost the entire time during summit night. They seemed to be the only guides speaking/singing/encouraging during summit night, which shows how incredible their energy is. I’m not sure how we would have managed without this! Organisation: the porters, the waiter, the toilet engineer and the camp managers were all incredible guys. Always with a smile on their faces, always made sure we had what we needed and worked incredibly hard every single day. The whole team felt like one big family, always making jokes and making conversation, i miss their company already! We would have surprise breaks for some of the hiking days, our waiter Godzilla always found the best spots, and it seemed like Nafika was the only company doing this amongst all other companies, we felt very very lucky. Communication: Elias is very responsive on whatsapp and will answer any questions you would possibly have. He was there the day we started our trek on when we came back again. Do not hesitate to book with Nafika and support a true locally owned company, you will not regret it 🙌

  Amazing adventure with incredible support from Nafika team. I had a specific time table for my trip, and Elias made the whole thing work. The team was just incredible — kind, energetic, and supportive at every turn. I made it to the top and had fun along the week!

  Our Experience with Nafika Tours First of all, we had a hard time choosing a tour operator at the beginning because there are so many options online. However, Nafika Tours stood out and ticked all the important boxes for us. We wanted to support a 100% local Tanzanian company that values fair wages for porters and works with qualified, certified guides — and Nafika met all those criteria. From the moment we contacted them, Elias was incredibly responsive and patient with every question we had. That communication built a strong sense of trust right from the start, which was very important to us. We chose the 7-day Lemosho Route and were a group of five trekkers, accompanied by 19 amazing team members. Each one of them made Kilimanjaro feel like home — always smiling, always radiating that true Hakuna Matata spirit. The food was outstanding! Every meal and snack exceeded our expectations. I had brought snacks from home, but I didn’t even need them — in fact, I started wondering if I might have gained weight after the trek 😂. The team took care of every single detail to make our experience unforgettable. The only thing we had to focus on was walking! I 100% recommend Nafika Tours — you will not be disappointed!

  It was an unforgettable experience from the start until the last minutes of the trip. Everything is well organised and everyone are so nice and helpful. We had the best food during the hike from the best chef, always surprised with cheese toast, warm soup, ginger tea and even a cake! The guides are patient and experienced and it would not have been possible to reach the summit without their energy and support and mostly their dedication to help us make it. Choose Nafika for an excellent experience and also if you want to benefit the local people not an outsider Agengcy

  I didn't have an idea of what to expect, I was blown away by Nafika team coordination and dedication to their guests. I will break my review into the following aspects; 1. Cordial Reception- starting from the pick up-timely, had the best drivers, picked the best hotel- with lots of activities, food and rest. 2. Care- Nafika tours team puts the clients needs, safety and best interest at heart. I thought gear check was a joke! Until they meticulously ensured all my gear was good and I had everything on the packing list. The care extended even while hiking, our guides would ensure we take our time in acclimatizing to the high altitudes by monitoring our health and ensuring we eat, drink and rest well. 3. Guides & Porters - We had the best guides Walter & Albert, their constant encouragement to go Pole pole!, sippy sippy and drinks drinky was so so energizing. Their experience, songs and stories made everyday easier for us. The porters & best Chefs- Peter, J4, Nelson, Alex, Judica, Samuel, Husein and Honest. These guys made mountain climbing look so easy. Walking very first with grace, carrying out stuff with so much care and love and always arriving before us despite us leaving earlier😀 and picking the best spot with network reception 😀 at each camp! Their warm welcome and smiles at the campsite with a dust brush, hot towel to wash and hot 5 star hotel food was always a pleasure to look forward to. 4. Client support - the best client support award goes to Nafika tours team, in general I would always recommend them in Kilimanjaro tours and all other tours in Tanzania. They have the heart for adventure and make lasting memories and connections with their clients!   I had the absolute pleasure of traveling with Nafika Tours, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Everything about the trip was so well organized and thoughtfully prepared. Meshaki and Efata guided us with such care, friendliness, and calmness. Their love for trekking and their passion for sharing their experiences were truly inspiring and contagious. The equipment, food, and staff were all wonderful, and our safety and well-being were always the top priority. What I really appreciated about Nafika Tours is how they allow each traveler to follow their own interests and passions during the trip (as long as it’s safe). This made it possible for everyone to enjoy the journey both as a group and in their own unique way. Nafika Tours also went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Even when my flight was delayed at Kilimanjaro Airport, their driver Brayan kindly waited for me until I arrived such a thoughtful gesture that I will never forget. I know without a doubt that I will travel again with Nafika Tours on my next adventure in Tanzania, where I plan to go on a safari.

  Climbing Kilimanjaro this September with Nafika Tours was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve come down from the mountain. Choosing the right guiding company is probably the most important decision you make for a climb like this, and going with Nafika again felt like coming back to family :)) From the very beginning, everything was handled with care. Nafika, and especially Elias, the owner, sent us detailed pre-trip information, packing lists, and medical advice, and checked in personally before the climb. That attention to detail set the tone for the whole experience: organized, thoughtful, and reassuring. Our team of 4 took the Lemosho Route, a beautiful and challenging path. We were guided by Innocent and Frank, joyful, knowledgeable, patient, and full of humor. They knew every plant, every story, and somehow always knew what we needed before we did :)) The food was amazing, and the team managed to accommodate all our special requests, special thanks to Arno, our cook, and Jackson, our waiter, who made every meal so special. Daily medical checks gave us confidence that we were in good hands. A huge thanks also to the rest of the magic crew, the porters who carried our bags, set up camp, danced, smiled, and made us feel like part of a big family, Jumanne, Shedrack, Samuel, Thomas, Paulo, Abel, Patrick, Samuel, Nickson, Ewald, Joackim. I rented a down jacket from Nafika instead of bringing my own, it was perfect for summit night. They also rent high-quality gear like poles and gaiters, which makes planning so much easier. I’d recommend Nafika Tours without hesitation to anyone dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro.   I did the 8 day Lemosho tour with Nafika Tours. It is a relatively small LOCAL tour company - so you're not just any customer and a number - your individual needs will be taken seriously and the crew will take excellent care of you! The tour was well organized and the crew went above and beyond. Shoutout to Walter & Albert - the best guides, to Peter - our chef, Judica - our summit porter, to Nelson "Mandela" - our waiter who picked the best tea spots and our porters Alex, Samu, Honest and Husein. And of course, the onen and only J4 - who made sure our tents were in place and our e-mails being sent :) If you can - request this crew! You will not regret it. Kilimanjaro is an adventure and Nafika Tours is the best choice of people who can support you during your climb!

  We did the 8-day Lemosho trek (Sep 1–8) followed by a 7-day safari (Sep 9–16) with Nafika Tours, and we cannot recommend them enough. From our very first inquiry to the end of the journey, Elias and his team showed an exceptional level of professionalism. He answered all our questions promptly and patiently as we debated between premium and standard packages, decided on the best base camp for summit night, and customized safari quotes to fit my handpicked accommodations—ensuring everything matched our needs perfectly. Elias also paired us with outstanding guides who truly made the experience. On Kilimanjaro, Justin and Lordy carefully managed our pace, encouraged us to eat and hydrate to minimize altitude sickness, and supported us every step of the way. When one member of our group suffered from high altitude sickness, they took excellent care of her and gave the encouragement we needed to ensure all three of us reached the summit successfully. For the safari, our guide Octavian was incredible—his deep knowledge of wildlife, sharp eye for spotting animals, and genuine passion for his work elevated the experience beyond what we imagined. Thanks to him, we witnessed countless animals up close and even saw three wildebeest crossings during our two days in the northern Serengeti—a truly unforgettable highlight. If you’re considering climbing Kilimanjaro or going on safari in Tanzania, we wholeheartedly recommend Nafika Tours.
