  The communication between myself and Mary was on time, reliable and accurate. She was very accommodating to my requests. And everything that was mentioned in the itinerary was as it was and all on time! The lodges and tented camps booked were very comfortable and cozy. But of course, the safaris were the best part with Nickson as our guide. We took so many amazing pictures of the wildlife. The tour guide, Nickson, was the best - very knowledgeable and experienced - we'll never forget. The safari was perfect with real effort to find us all the animals we wanted to see, Nickson full of knowledge and willing to show us the best of Tarangire, Manayara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The food everywhere was amazing and we got a beautiful singing performance from the staff at Serengeti Serena Lodge. A Gilmag Safaris tour is worthwhile if you want to experience the magic of Africa with reliable airport transfers both in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. We'd recommend Gilmag Safaris to anybody and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

  We booked 15 days honeymoon vacation with Gilmag Safaris and are already planning to go back to Tanzania for our anniversary. Gilmag organized an incredible bush to beach holiday. Our safari guide, Moses was experienced and very friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The hotels and lodges booked were very clean and provided very tasty meals. Being honeymooners, we had our rooms decorated everywhere we stayed at. Mary also organized sparkling wine during dinner at all the hotels at no extra cost. We had the best experience and definitely going back to Tanzania for our anniversary in 2022.

  We had the time of our lives in Tanzania being hosted by Gilmag Safaris. Gilmag Safaris was amazing in all regard. I chose Gilmag Safaris because they were very prompt with their response. Their costs included a full itinerary and a booking for the entire trip at the pleasant Serena Lodges. As a company, Gilmag Safaris was largely very good. The accommodation was about as good as you could possible expect, given the type of trip, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we come back to Tanzania. All the lodges we stayed in were excellent and the staff was friendly and did their upmost to make our stay a pleasant one. We absolutely loved Tanzania and the parks and were guided by Nickson who was outstanding as an animal spotter. His knowledge of the flora and fauna was phenomenal! Our guide Nickson was wonderful. In the beginning of the trip he promised us that he would give us a most memorable safari experience and he did it!! The Wildlife experience was breathtaking; it felt like we were in a Lion King Movie. We got to see all of the big five thanks to Nickson as well with his amazing eyes!!! Overall this was a fantastic bang for the buck!

  Gilmag Safaris provided a first-class experience for us. A very well put together tour of Tanzania and Kenya!!! A seamless journey and an impeccable itinerary of Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Gilmag Safaris provided a high level of service; we were very well looked after. Mary helped me through the whole process. Everything was well organized and well communicated. They were amazingly accommodating, working with us by email to come up with an itinerary that was perfect for us. They were prompt in reply, understood what we wanted, and ended up providing a package that was one of the best experiences of our lives. She organized an amazing once in a lifetime honeymoon for us! I would highly recommend travelling to Africa with this reputable company. What an amazing tour, it will be hard to beat. We were especially impressed by Abu, our highly professional Tanzanian guide, who was a delight to be around. He was an amazing tracker and wealth of information which immensely added to our experience. He was always willing to stay somewhere if we wanted to view an animal longer and answered all of our questions no matter how silly. Bravo Gilmag Safaris!!!

  

• Unforgettable wild tour

  This was our first trip to Africa for our group of 42 people. Our agent from Armenia organized everything. Our safari started in Zanzibar, and then we took a flight to Kilimanjaro. We had an amazing experience that we will never forget. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi. The accommodations chosen by Gilmag Safaris were all superb, and a nice variety of styles from lodges to tented camps. Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge was our favourite. We spent two nights here and wished we had more. We were in a convoy of 7 vehicles, each vehicle having an English speaking guide and a Russian translator. Our guides Freddy and Ally were awesome. Thumbs up to Gilmag Safaris for the fabulous trip. We have recommended this company to our friends and most definitely they will be visiting soon. We will also come back.

  We got different quotes for safaris before we booked our honeymoon vacation with Gilmag Safaris. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I choose Gilmag but trusted the good reviews on TripAdvisor and other forums. I’m so glad I did because everything about this safari exceeded my expectations. Gilmag Safaris was a fantastic organization. Everything was organized down to the last detail. The customer service was on point. The accommodation recommended and booked was lovely, and the safari was amazing. We saw so much. Our guide Junior was super friendly and told us lots of interesting information on the way, also pointing out points of interest. He answered all our questions and never intruded on our space. He just let us be until we needed him. Words barely describe the experience we had. I am beyond grateful to Gilmag Safaris for the lasting magical memories they provided us.

  We booked this trip in 2019 and looked so much forward to it but unfortunately, we postponed because of Covid-19 and finally travelled in 2021. I wanted to share with you how professional Gilmag Safaris handled everything from booking to the postponement of this trip. They were very quick in responding to every question I had. From booking to tours end, we were very impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. As I had never booked a guided tour before, I read all the reviews of the various tour groups, but ultimately chose Gilmag Safaris because of the private tour option for our family group of young children and great reviews. Maguke gave us suggestions that proved invaluable and she was a pleasure to work with. It was an amazing experience and more than what I paid for with Gilmag Safaris. Everything I wanted to see and photograph were covered, especially our trip to Lake Eyasi was an eye opener about the Hadzabe people and Datoga tribe! Our tour guide Gilbert went above and beyond to make sure that everything that we wanted was shown as planned. Those wonderful sunset picnics in Serengeti at a riverbank were exceptional. Gilbert’s knowledge of the area was seemingly endless, answering all kinds of questions and imparting a wealth of information. When experiencing such breathtaking and awe-inspiring sights, your mind wanders to all kinds of topics, of which Gilbert was happy to participate in. This trip was INCREDIBLE! I cannot overstate how happy we were with the trip overall, but especially with our tour guide, Gilbert. Shout out to Gilbert, Maguke and the team!!!

  My booking was done professionally and tailored to my preference and budget. A trip like this is a once in a life time experience and you want to make sure it is effected properly and stress free so you have time to enjoy the experience. Mary answered all our questions, explained interesting facts, made suggestions and gave good travel tips. 10 golden stars!!! The lodges and camps booked were great, the food awesome and the wildlife viewing spectacular. Our tour guide, Gilbert was just beyond excellent. Besides being a very nice person, he did a great job. His passion showed through and made our safari a fabulous experience. We would definitely book another tour, particularly if Gilbert is our guide. Gilbert was not only very knowledgeable but also really funny and the tour was a definite highlight of our trip!! Traveling with Gilmag Safaris was the best decision we ever made. I highly recommend them.

  During our planning, I researched at least 30 different safari companies in Tanzania and narrowed it down to 10, finally settling on Gilmag Safaris. They gave us a lot of suggestions regarding the tour and they were always prompt and responsive, thanks to Mary. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with our Guide, Nickson. Our trip included visits to Tarangire, Ngorangoro and Serengeti, followed by a relaxing week in Zanzibar. Our accommodations were just out of this world. I have no words to describe how perfect everything was during our safari. The plan was just flawless and everything on point. Thank you Gilmag Safaris for the incredible trip. We hope to come back again.

  We had a perfect safari with Gilmag Safaris, staying at the beautiful Serena hotels. This trip was meant to have happened in 2020 but we had to postpone it due to Covi-19. Mary did an excellent job in rescheduling our trip at no extra cost. The safari itself was amazing with Haji as our guide. We saw lots of animals, in fact all wildlife creatures that one can ever imagine of. Serena hotels provided the best accommodation and food. Everything was beyond our expectations. At the end of our trip, we did Covid-19 test in Karatu and received our results right on time before departure. We highly recommend Gilmag Safaris to anyone wishing to travel to Africa. We will definitely come back. Asante Sana!!!
