The 8 days private tour covers three most essence tourist cities in China: Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai. The visiting lasts 6-8 hours each day so your tour would be more relaxing and you will have an deeper look of the things you like most.

Upon you arrive at Beijing Airport, our driver will pick you up at the exit of the airport according to your flight schedule and transfer you to your hotel in Beijing for check-in. Rest day is free on your own. You may have a good rest at the hotel.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to Tiananmen Square, which is the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Next destination is the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built of wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). 24 emperors of the two dynasties once lived here.
Hutong Tour
visit the Beijing local folk residence: Hutong Alley. There is opportunity for you to take a rickshaw to explore Hutong to see daily life of native Beijing people. Following the local expert guide, you will find another face of the city that totally different from what you see in major streets.

Temple of Heaven
Today's tour begins with the Temple of Heaven. Located at southern part of Beijing, it served as a complex of sacrificial building where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches for 5400 meters. 90 percent of the Mutianyu is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.
Beijing
On the way back to city area, pay an outer visit to Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
In the morning, you will visit Summer Palace. It is located at the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectares. During the Qianlong Era of the Qing Dynasty, the Summer Palace was built by imitating the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.
Beijing West Railway Station
After lunch, transfer to Beijing West Train Station for high speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, our local driver will pick you up on time, transfer to your hotel in Xi'an downtown area.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Today you will be companied with our guide to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World”, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. It is located 30 km east of Xi’an City and the original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into one of the most important attractions in China and the top site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses.
Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang)
At noon, you will be driven to visit Xian Ancient City Wall, the most completely preserved and largest city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the Ming Dynasty, about 650 years ago. You can optionally ride a bike on the city wall. The rental fee is on your own side.
Muslim Quarter
Then come to Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square to have an outer look of the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower. At last, go to visit Muslim Quarter, the most famous food street in Xian.

Shaanxi History Museum
Shaanxi History Museum is one of the biggest and most famous museums in China. The museum houses the cultural heritage unearthed in Shaanxi Province. Although it’s a provincial Museum, the collection of relics here is at national level from both quantity and quality as Xian had been Capitals for more than 13 dynasties in ancient China. Following the tour guide, walk around and stop at those priceless exhibits to learn the hidden history and splendid civilization of China.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)
Big Wild Goose Pagoda , a sacred place for worshiping Buddha. The pagoda was originally built to preserve sutras and figures of Buddha that Xuanzang brought back to China from India in the Tang Dynasty. Now there is a big Garden around Big Wild Goose Pagoda where people can have a nice walk.
Pudong International Airport
After lunch, take the afternoon flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, our local driver will pick you up on time, and then transfer to your hotel in Shanghai downtown area.

Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall
Pickup from hotel at 09:00. Sites you will visit are Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. With “city, human, environment, development” as the theme, the exhibition hall presents the city’s past and future from various aspects.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Yuyuan Garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. The garden was specially built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. After visiting the pretty Yuyuan Garden, you will wander around the lively Yuyuan Market. You can get everything here from traditional Chinese crafts like chopsticks, fans, and pottery to local delicacies such as steamed buns, crab shell cake, and pork chop with rice cakes. Don’t forget to haggle for a better price.
Xintiandi
Xintiandi is a great place for leisure and amusement where you will meet rows of shops and bars transformed from Shikumen houses.
The Bund
The Bund is one of the most famous landmarks in Shanghai. Standing on the bank of Huangpu River, the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance are a symbol of Shanghai’s past.

From the moment we got in touch with her, right up until we landed back home in Perth, Grace was with us every step of the way- encouraging, advising, guiding, supporting and accommodating - The trip was meticulously planned and curated to our very specific needs. We did everything we wanted to - and lots more, besides! Our trip embraced most of the highlights of Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu and Shanghai. Our hotels were comfortable and very well located, our guides were excellent, and the drivers extremely careful, kind and competent. Guides such as 'Jackson', 'Jenny' and 'Rocky' were exceptionally knowledgeable, patient and flexible. Drivers Ma and Lee were so kind, courteous, respectful and helpful!!! 5.00Highly recommended private tour all inclusive of Private transportation with safe drivers, great accommodations with strategic locations and very knowledgeable tour guides. We requested for a muslim friendly tour and Sophia Liu, or sr trvl consultant delivers it all. It was a smooth, customizable itinerary and transaction. Thanks to our guides, Serena (Beijing) and Sophia (xi'an) who are English speaking, very knowledgeable, friendly and accomodative to our halal dietary needs. Found us great halal restaurants and helped us communicate with locals due to our language barriers. Extra thanks to Serena who ensure we got onto our bullet train and reach Xi'an smoothly and safely. (Which was one of our main worries) . Definitely a travel tour that you can trust to make your holidays a memorable one!

5.00Me n my friend booked this private tour of 9 days. We had no good idea on what to expect, although looking back, the description said it all. Our private driver picked us up with his car from airport to hotel in the morning after our arrival and from that moment the adventure began. We have seen so many things during the 9 days, visited so many places. Most nights we slept in authentic hotels, one more beautiful than the other and of course there was something to criticize everywhere, but overall and without exception they were beautiful and special. We received a warm welcome everywhere with our super knowledgeable guides (Angela, Noble and Caroline )who made our trip extra special. They were really passionate about China and intelligent to highlight the history and share with us with such excitement. Hope the company has recognised their contribution as i feel they went all out to serve their customers that we are so thankful for. We also spent many hours in the car driving through changing sceneries, but there was so much to see that it never got boring. The Great wall and terra cotta warrior was a special and best highlights! Only hiccup was the receiving us from the train station where we got lost abit but was quickly resolved by the agent Sophia. In our opinion, this could have been solved with a more detailed emailed as we were in a huge train station. But nevertheless, huge shout out to our tour agent Sophia who was extremely professional and dedicated in her line of work which i deeply appreciate. Thank you Sophia! We felt safe in the hands of all drivers as they were highly skilled drivers and nice people. All together we had a wonderful journey, above expectations and now, weeks later, we are still processing all the impressions. It was a really good trip, highly recommend it. 5.00We had an eight day tour of China visiting Shanghai Xian and Beijing. We had booked flights and hotels independently from the tour. Amy Fang was our contact and she was extremely efficient and professional at all times to ensure our final itinerary met our wishes. The tour had a couple of hiccups but they were quickly resolved by Amy who appeared to be on call 24 hours per day - thank you Amy. Shanghai We did a one day tour of Shanghai and a half day tour of the water city and evening at the Bund. We didn't really have sufficient time at the Water City but the remainder of this part of our trip was great. We moved on to Xian - driver at the Terminal 3 and we at Terminal 1 however the day trip with our guide was absolutely amaxzng. His knowledge of the Terracotta Army was superb. We spent just a day in Xian and to be honest itwasnt long enough - that was our choose but I would recommend another day, The third element of the tour was Beijing. Our guide and driver were very good. Our guide in particularwas knowledgeable, professional and managed to fit in our many requirements in the couple of days we were there - Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer palace, temple, olympic stadium even a foot massage at the local alternative therapy clinic which was welcomed. We saw so much and the guides were able to guide us through routes of these very busy sights to ensure we made best use of our time - all sharing their knowledge and expertise. I would absolutely recommend Chinaxiantours and in particulalr Amy Fangwho gave what was undoubtedly a first class service,
