  Tanzania is beautiful at this time of the year, and we had an epic journey with guide Otto through Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa Mountains. We had not been to the south of Tanzania before, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The parks were teeming with diverse wildlife species but there were fewer vehicles to these places. I owe lots of appreciation to Ramadhan who helped us to build the itinerary. He patiently gave us all the information we needed, answering our numerous questions and in the end, we had an itinerary that we wanted. We loved the selected accommodations in the parks and along the way. They had great service and were wonderful places to stop and rejuvenate after the drives. Thank you, Otto for being such a gracious ambassador, so knowledgeable and charming person who did everything to keep us happy and safe.

  The safari was all fun and the experience was so fulfilling. We had a wonderful guide - Hamisi with us and he was really good; excellent driving skills which came in handy as we we moved through extensive distances. The vehicle was spacious though its more designed for the off road. We went through a wide variety of habitats and also met so many wonderful people in Tanzania. In Mikumi and Rauha we had great encounters with the large game, where we saw lots of different animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, hyenas and the usual savana bushland animals. The Ruaha river was an oasis where there were huge numbers of lions and the imposing baobab trees made a striking sight. Udzungwa was different as its mainly hiking in the pristine mountain forest and the main animals were monkeys and birds. All in all it was a tremendeous experience and we loved it. Rama and his team did us right!

  This was our second vacation in Tanzania with Gecko Adventure Tanzania. We were back to Gecko because of their personalized service and attention to detail. We got Basili as our guide and he did an amazing job of guiding us. He has done this tour countless times and knew all the nice spots, which only comes with experience. There were hardly any other vehicles in the parks which made it very exclusive and enhanced the experience as we could take as long as we wanted. We saw so much wildlife and amazing sights with Basili on this tour that I did not think was possible. We enjoyed staying at the lovely cozy lodges that Rama booked us in. They had excellent service and memorable places to stay in.

  Such an amazing and unforgettable experience to Tanzania. We did the less traveled southern circuit and are so thrilled to have been part of such an amazing experience. Otto did not disappoint, his game drives led us to great viewing spots where we enjoyed amazing views. His knowledge of the parks enriched the experience because his choices led us from action to more action. I have been to Tanzania twice before however this time it was more fun and enjoyable for the family. We particularly the privacy and exclusivity in the parks and lodges. Probably we are able to pay for better services unlike during our backpacking days. Thank you all for giving us an amazing time. Highly recommended!

  My husband and I had a fantastic safari trip in Tanzania. We had a week-long trip with Gecko Adventures Tanzania. Rama arranged for us to spend the last afternoon in Arusha visiting the souvenir shops and enjoying a lovely brunch at George's before our flight. The actual trip took us to Tarangire, the Ndutu plains of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. We enjoyed going on game drives with guide Juma and then retiring to five-star treatment at the lodges. Ndutu was the highlight of our trip where thousands of wildebeest calved at the same time. Asante sana! It was an unforgettable experience.

  Gecko Adventure Tanzania showed the most amazing places in southern Tanzania. We traveled to Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha with guide Rahim. He is an excellent guide, friendly and very professional. He made the trip very interesting with his knowledge of the different wildlife we encountered. Rama had planned the trip very well that it was hassle free. We are completely satisfied with the overall experience and absolutely recommend Gecko Adventure Tanzania.

  This trip to Tanzania will be remembered for many good reasons. Booking with Ramadhani was easy and seamless. Our guide Musa was exceptionally good, he made the trip special. He found animals everywhere, interesting stories and his friendly nature made us happy to be with him. The accommodations were comfortable with fine food and food.   Rama put together an outstanding trip to Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa Mountains. Pre-trip information was great, with Rama responsive to my emails and providing preparation requirements information. This safari off the beaten path away from the crowds was amazing. We were with Martin who made the trip fun and very fulfilling. He has a very keen eye that we saw lions, buffaloes, zebras, crocodiles, giraffes, monkeys, elephants, zebras and many different bird species. We stayed in great places that had great food and service. Gecko Tanzania Adventures comes highly recommended

  Ramadhani organized a trip to southern Tanzania through Selous, Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa mountains. We covered the abundantly endowed parks with safari guide Martin who showed us the different plants, animals and bird species. It was an outstanding safari capturing the beautiful sights, meeting the wonderful Tanzanian people and the lovely countryside. We had a mix of game drives, hot-air balloon tours, boat safari and cultural tours that we could not get enough of Tanzania. It was nice that Ramadhani booked us in comfortable and relaxing lodges. This shall remain as one of the most memorable safari of our lives.

  This was our second tour to Tanzania and we are in love with this place. It is the most beautiful country in Africa. It has beautiful landscapes, rich wildlife and a rich culture. All the people we interacted with were Welcoming and very friendly. The trip took us to Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha National Parks. This allowed for a lot of sightseeing, game drives and cultural interactions with the different communities we found along the way. The Shabaab guide was knowledgeable about everything; birds, animals, tribes and everything about Tanzania. He was patient and a very nice person to be with. The hotels were excellent and the hot air balloon ride at dawn very exciting. We have no doubt that we will soon return to Tanzania. Exciting Tanzania Safari with Gecko Adventure Tanzania
