Day 2 brings a lot on your plate! In the morning, embark on an awe-inspiring journey to the Puerto Princesa Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Start with a scenic boat ride across crystal-clear waters to Sabang, where lush jungles and limestone cliffs greet you. Walk through a mangrove forest teeming with wildlife before entering the subterranean river. A paddle boat takes you inside the stunning cave system, revealing breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, and cathedral-like chambers. 2.00When I travel, I always like to choose local agencies because I think they definitely know the area best. And I've been doing so for over 15 years I chose yours for the Philippines after reading an article mentioning it as a TripAdvisor award winner. It inspired confidence, but unfortunately, I wasn't entirely satisfied. This is the first time I've written a less-than-positive review, and I feel awkward. I'll try to explain, hoping it serves as a reminder to you to improve The most perfectly organized aspect were the private excursions and transfers. The excursions were perfect, beautiful, and all the guides were exceptional: kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jeff, for the Underground River, is my favorite. The transfers were impeccably organized That said, there were two serious mistakes. The first was not being clear about the payment method. They said bank transfer. I went to the bank to make it, but it took 10 days for the payment to be credited, and with just the receipt, rightfully, the most important thing, the flight, wasn't booked. You Philippine experts should have told me, "Ma'am unfortunately, we can't do anything until the money arrives. However, we recommend purchasing the flight yourself. I'll give you instructions on how to do it before they run out." That would have been correct I live in Italy and know that in my area, even under the current date, there's always a way to get from north to south. I'm not an expert on the Philippines, so I relied on a local agency. In the meantime, the tickets from Coron to Manila sold out, and we had to make the long haul from Coron to Puerto Princesa, missing out on a day of sun and beach between ferries and vans. I consider this the most serious thing. Then it turned out you could also pay with Wise The other serious thing was choosing a flight from Puerto Princesa to Manila that left at 8 a.m. without asking me first what time I preferred. Can someone make such a stupid mistake? After enduring a 10-hour ferry and van ride the day before, the next day I have to wake up again at 5:30 a.m. to get to the airport for an 8:00 a.m. flight. I also miss out on breakfast, which I hadn't had the day before. Why not ask me what time I'd prefer for my flight? There are practically 20 flights a day from Puerto Princesa. I'm afraid this isn't good customer service. And, what's more, after you took care of booking this terrible flight, you also told me to do the online check-in yourself. In all my years of traveling, this has never happened to me; all the agencies I've used have always handled online check-in for me. Another mistake on my last night in Coron: you forgot to send me the ferry tickets to print. I only remembered at 9 pm, and I had to scramble to find someone who could print them for me at that time. I'll leave aside the terrible hotel in Coron; I don't consider it a serious issue; in fact, I think it's something that can unfortunately happen. The important thing is, as I pointed out, that this hotelit will never be recommended to anyone else. Otherwise, you were always available and helpful. I hope the mistakes I pointed out will help with other customers in the future. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable recommending you to others, I'm sorry However, I have fond memories of the Philippines and Palawan for the spectacular scenery and the wonderful people I met, and I thank you.
