You can see the most important sights also of the Pest and the Buda side during this 8 hour long tour. This time is enough to explore the city more deeply and get a lot of information about Hungarian history, culture, arts, politics, gastronomy, people - and about anything what you want.
Sightseeing by car is more comfortable and less tiring - and allows more time to spend in all places.
If you are more in number than 3, I can arrange a minivan.

Andrassy Avenue
Andrássy Avenue is a boulevard in Budapest, dating back to 1872. It links the city center with the Heroes' square. Lined with spectacular Neo-renaissance mansions and townhouses featuring fine facades and interiors, it was recognised as a World Heritage Site in 2002. It is also one of Budapest's main shopping streets, with fine cafes, restaurants, theatres, Embassies and luxury boutiques.
Heroes' Square
One of the major squares in Budapest, noted for its iconic statue complex featuring the Seven chieftains of the Hungarians and other important Hungarian national leaders. , as well as the Memorial Stone of Heroes, It hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and the Art Gallery. The square has played an important part in contemporary Hungarian history and has been a host to many political events, such as the reburial of Imre Nagy in 1989.

5.00Gergő (Gregory) was our driver and guide for the day and he was amazing! We spent 8 hours with him and it flew as he brought us to all the amazing sites of Pest and then Buda. He explained the complicated history of Hungary from its vast wealth and strength to its Communist occupation, and to its politics of today - a member of the EU but with an anti-EU government in place which highlights the huge divide between the city and country electorate. We covered so much on this day tour and it helped put everything into context so we knew where we wanted to re-visit at a slower pace. Budapest is beyond awesome with billions spent restoring the city to its former glory - it gives Paris and Saint Petersburg a run for their money (but at the expense of much needed utilities and facilities for the Hungarian people). Gergő customised the tour to suit us and found the perfect place for us to stop for lunch. We would highly recommend this tour - particularly if you want to get the best out of Budapest on a short trip!

5.00We had a wonderful private tour of Budapest. Gergely was a great guide and driver. We saw all the highlights, and he provided us many opportunities to walk around and go inside where we wanted. He even picked a great place for us to lunch. We saw Parliament, Jewish Quarter, the shoes Monument on the Danube, St. Stephen's church, Fisherman's Bastion, Mathias Church, Buda Castle, Central Market and so much more. Gergely was right on time picking us up from our riverboat and dropped us at our hotel 8 hours later.

5.00Our guide, Gregory, was excellent. He conducted our tour in a most informative manner. Avoiding crowds and showing us an extensive view of the city in a personal manner. His suggestions as to what to see and what to avoid were much appreciated. He took into account what we had previously seen. The tour was fabulous and is highly recommended.

5.00My mom and I had a short time in Budapest so we wanted to see as much as possible. We booked this trip hoping to see the main sites in 1 day. Our guide showed us even more! We saw much more in 1 day than we would have in 3 days on our own! If you are in Budapest, you must book this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, polite and wanted to know what we were interested in seeing!
