Ghardaia is one of the unique Saharan cities from an architectural, urban and environmental point of view, situated in the center of the Northern part of the Sahara.

In this tour, you can fully enjoy the Vally f M'zab, a word heritage site, focusing on the viewpoint of architecture, city and environment.

You are going to leave the modern world behind by exploring the old towns of the M'Zab Valley and meet with the authenticity of another world with another atmosphere. Our starting point begins with the exploration of the surrounding M'zab Valley comprised of five villages. We start with El Atteuf which is the first village erected by the Mzabite people in the region in 1020 where you can notice palmeraies with the city behind them. You will wander around the narrow passageways of the town, admire the minarets with the distinctive architecture.

We don't usually arrange our travels through tour operators, but Algeria can be quite complicated so we were really glad we booked through Fancyellow. We booked a tailored package, including a tour of Djemila, Constantine and Ghardaia. Our experience with Fancyellow was smooth right from the start with a prompt response to queries, and being provided clear, useful advice and support with tailoring our itinerary based on our preferences. Oussama did a great job keeping in contact before and during our trip and answering any questions. It was really reassuring that he was available throughout the day on Whatsapp if we needed any help. Drivers and guides were always professional and punctual in each part of our trip. Everyone we interacted with through Fancyellow were so friendly and helpful, from the office staff (Oussama, Islam, and I think the accountant? sorry I forgot his name), to the drivers and guides. It was a pleasure to get to know them. We bumped into Soumia a lot throughout our trip - she was with another group but still took the time to talk to us and help us out - appreciated her so much!! Special thanks to Said in Ghardaia! Really polite and intelligent, good sense of humour, lovely to be around :)

Fantastic experience! I had a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoyable to travel with. Well organized tour and the M'zab Valley definitely lived up to my expectations and was the highlight of my trip to Algeria. Tour company was very responsive and helpful in coordinating transportation as well. Highly recommend this tour!

I am extremely pleased with FancyYellow! I recommend you contact them directly, however, instead of booking a tour with a western tour company that contracts with FancyYellow. Cut out the middleman and save $$$!!! Their English was outstanding. They were kind and helpful. I hope to use them again because I truly enjoyed Algeria.
