This 8-night tour is a bit pricy even according to the Australian standard. However, this private tour is worth every penny if you do want to enjoy your the beautiful Myanmar without any planning. The trip covers 4 main tourist attractions including Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, and Inle Lake. In every cities, I had a private tour guide along with a driver to take me around. All tour guides are not just fluent in English, but also knowledgeable and friendly. They took me to different tourist attractions and let me fully appreciate the historical sites with detailed explanations. The accommodation is definitely top-notch, including luxurious brand such as Shangrila and a variety of boutique hotels (5-star equivalent according to the Australian Standard). The view is quite nice and the food including both western and Myanmar style is gourmet.Traffic in Myanmar is a big issue. This tour covers all flights between major cities in Myanmar, which save heaps of time in transfer. I could enjoy the tour the minute I landed and went to the hotel if I felt a bit tired. In summary, if you have enough budget and would like to fully enjoy the enchanting Myanmar, then this 8-night tour is a must for sure.

This 9 day tour covered a lot of ground. Basically, when we arrived in Yangon in the morning, we were picked up by tour guide at airport and started the tour jet lag and all we asked for 1-2 hour break in the afternoon to rest, and we restarted the tour in late afternoon to Shwedagon Pagoda which is a must see when in Yangon. The next morning, we woke early morning for flight to Bagan and spend 2 nights there Bagan is touristy with Pagodas everywhere the Bagan tour guide took us all over for a fairly full 2 days of touring with a few hours of down time Bagan is a must see. Then, it is off on another early morning flight to Mandalay with another 2 full days of touring with another tour guide Mandalay tour is really 4 separate towns Sagaing, Mingun, Mandalay, and Amarpura a lot to see in short amount of time very enjoyable. Then it is a flight to Inlay Lake for 2 days with another tour guide one day is basically driving to Pindaya Caves and the next day is a whole day touring Inlay Lake by boat the Inlay Lake day was my favorite part of the tour. Then it was flight back to Yangon for half day tour Yangon is basically a busy city and the least enjoyable part of tour. We decided to stay an extra night in Yangon to catch up and unwind before being picked up for a flight home the following morning. All in all, it was a very enjoyable tour without any major problems.
Conclusions, tips, and what I learned:
-This tour is recommended for anyone who wants to see a lot of Myanmar 4 major destinations: Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, and Inle Lake in a short amount of time 9 days it is NOT recommended for those who are looking to have a slow relaxing time.
-One of the things that makes a huge difference is the quality of tour guide there were 4 different tour guides One at each destination, and all were independent freelance guides some were better in English than others some were more enthusiastic than others so this is just luck of the draw.
-The basic hotels were adequate and very nice with great staff and service. Out of the 4 hotels, the worst was in Yangon Grand United Chinatown even though the hotel location was pretty good, it was the most run down and least comfortable of the 4.
-Myanmar is a beautiful country with strong Buddhist traditions. It is still 3rd worldish but rapidly changing, so see it before it changes too much.
