You will meet our representative after breakfast in the morning, and they will give you an overview of your Tanzanian safari. After that, you will travel to Tarangire National Park. With a total area of over 2,600 square kilometers (1,000 square miles), Tarangire National Park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania. Vast herds of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing pythons are the main draws of Tarangire. After lunch at the lodge, you will go on a game drive in the afternoon. Savor the first day of your wildlife excursion. You return to the lodge later in the evening

After breakfast, drive through the Olduvai Gorge and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to Serengeti National Park. The park is 14,763 square kilometers (5,700 square miles) and includes rivers, trine forests, woodlands, grasslands, plains, and savannahs. The park is located in the north of the nation, contiguous with the Masai Mara National Reserve on the borders of Tanzania and Kenya. We will take a game drive through the Serengeti Central Areas once we reach Serengeti National Park. Then, we will drive to Central Serengeti Luxury Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After spending the entire morning seeing wildlife on the vast plains of the Serengeti, we will have lunch at a picnic area inside the park around 1:30pm. We will then carry on with our game drive until nightfall. Most people are familiar with the Serengeti because of the yearly migration that crosses the vast savannah grasslands. Thousands upon thousands of animals, mostly wildebeest, as far as the eye can see, make for an amazing spectacle. In addition to the wildebeest, other notable inhabitants of the Serengeti are cheetahs, leopards, and lions, some of which stay on the central plain and migrate with the latter. We will return to Central Serengeti Luxury Camps for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast. The incredible Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world, is recognized as a World Heritage Site. The crater dominates with 600-meter (2,000 feet) high cliffs that offer a sharp drop into an open area covering about 246 square kilometers (95 square miles). Amidst vast herds of zebra and wildebeest, you might spot anything from elephants to lions and, if you are lucky, the nearly extinct black rhino. Drive later to spend the night at Rhino Lodge on the crater rim.

After breakfast at 5:50am, we depart at 6:00am for a six to seven-hour game drive in the crater. On the crater floor, we will encounter the community of people living in this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch. All year long, the Ngorongoro Crater offers fantastic game viewing. Because there is always plenty of grazing and water available, the wildlife in this area has a permanent population. Drive back to Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park
Tanzania's Lake Manyara is a freshwater lake. Thousands of bird species call Lake Manyara home at different times of the year. The flamingoes surround the lakeshore to form a shimmering pink zone. Ostriches, egrets, herons, pelicans, and storks are among the other birds seen here. It is the park's most noticeable landscape! Depending on how long we have to spend in Lake Manyara National Park, we will go on a full-day game drive. We will make our way to Arusha Planet Lodge in the evening to have dinner and spend the night there.

5.00I cannot recommend Meru Slopes highly enough. Our consultant, Almachius, was amazing. He tailored the trip to our needs and when we had a travel issue, adjusted things seamlessly. Our guide/driver Douglas was wonderful - very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about animal behaviour and an expert driver on those bumpy roads. We saw lots of incredible wildlife and the landscapes were magnificent. Accommodations and food were fantastic. It was an incredible experience and we highly recommend this company if you are planning a safari in Tanzania.

5.00We had a great safari. Shadrack has organized everything in a perfect way taking into account all our requests. Thanks to Stanley - our driver and the guide- we could experience unforgetable moments with the animals, especially river Mara crossing which was spectaculous. The lodges as well as food were excellent. It was a perfect time!

5.00We had the most incredible safari experience with Meru Slope from August 28 to September 7! Our group was growing very large after friends’ friends joining, but everything was organized close to perfect. Each day’s itinerary was well-planned and seamless, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our adventure. The food was delicious, the camp accommodations were comfortable and exceeded our expectations, and our guide/driver service we received throughout the trip was outstanding. A very special thank you to our driver and guide Jacob, who was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. 5.00We had a private 11-day trip across Tanzania from 8/28-9/7 and we had a wonderdul time! Our driver/guide Samwil is the best! He accommodates all our needs without hasitation, when we want to do something that is out of the norm, he is always ready and happy to do. Samwil is also an experiencd driver/guide, his past auto-repair mechanical job experience is a tremendous plus as he takes care of our jeep daily and drives with caution, as we are on the vast remote dirt roads daily with long hours, safety and jeep reliability is the number one priority and one can always count on Samwil for that. I am very happy with the services that Samwil provided and feel very fortunte that Samwil is assigned to us. Overall the Meru Slope company is great! Reasonably priced with great services, the food, the accommdations, the game drives are all first class, AND we see all we come to see plus more. Definitely exceeded my expectations! As a result, I highly recommend the Meru Slopes company for Africa and Tanzania trips, especially Samwil as the driver/guide. 5.00We had an amazing experience and our drivers (we had two cars) made our adventure the best!! Stanley and Patrick were not only knowledgeable but knew the tricks to finding the big five among the ugly five and MUCH MORE!! They were like family by the end of our trip! Kelvin was extremely prompt with any type of communication. Would highly recommend Meru Lopes!

5.00What a spectacular trip. From beginning to end, just an incredible experience. Gift was our contact at the company and we found him so helpful and responsive. We were impressed with the promptness of responses and were impressed that, after booking our wildebeest migration safari, Gift contacted us to let us know that our itinerary had been modified so that we’d have the best chance of seeing the migration (and we did!) All our lodging was excellent - great food, cool locations, and the most incredible staff who all felt so dedicated to giving us a great experience. We had so many great interactions with many folks along the way. We saw thousands upon thousands of animals, often getting much closer to them than I ever thought we would. We saw the big 5, but so many other animals and birds. Tanzania is such a special gem, especially regarding the density of of wildlife. A special shoutout to our guide, Godfrey. He was endlessly patient with us, often waiting for long periods of time while we searched for birds or watched lions fighting with vultures over their kill. His knowledge of animals and birds (!!) was incredible, and he was so good at spotting both, even while driving! He was kind, patient, friendly, and went out of his way to take care of us. Truly, I don’t think our trip would have been the same or as good without him. We were all so pleased with every aspect of our experience. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Godfrey and Gift!

5.00Impressive experience on the Serengeti wildebeest migration. Mohamed is a very good guide who did his best to search for the big 5 and we were lucky to spot all of them though rhino is a far watch. Kelvin did us a favor to customize the package in a short time. He is quickly responding to our questions. We highly recommend their services.
