This Package is the only one of its kind. 9 days and 8 nights in the pearl of Africa where you are able to have an experience with mountain gorillas, and also the big 5 ( Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant, and African Buffalo. After breakfast you shall be welcomed by a guide/driver of Sankofa Afrika Safaris, who will brief you about the trip, later embark on the road to Murchison falls national park via luwelo, have stopover at luwelo for fruit buying, later check in Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, after have lunch and check in the park.

Murchison Falls National Park
On this day you'll have an early morning breakfast and set off for the morning game drive. Here, you will also have a chance to see some of the interesting wildlife species that call the park home including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, giraffes, and warthogs among others, after you will then return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon Nile boat cruise to spot the Nile crocodiles, hippos as well as unique bird species that will take your breath away. Also, the phenomenal appearance of the waterfalls will blow your mind and make you wish to spend more time in the park. After the cruise, you will then head back to the lodge and relax.

After your breakfast, you will check out of the safari lodge to embark on your drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Your journey will certainly involve trans-versing through the magnificent Albertine Escarpments and enjoying the views of the cool countryside. Eventually, you'll have lunch in Hoima and arrive at Kibale National Park in the evening.

Have breakfast in the morning, you will go to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu Visitor Center at 7:00 am for a pre-tracking briefing before entering the jungles of Kibale Forest to search for mankind’s closest relatives once the chimps are seen you are given 1 hour to watch them, expect to see several primate species including the red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and olive baboons among others as well as birds, butterflies, and tree species of interest. Return to the lodge for lunch and shortly check out before starting your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon. Meanwhile, you will be able to view the glamorous ranges of the mountains of the moon.

Have an early morning breakfast before heading for a game drive through the Kasenyi Plains where you are likely to spot the Uganda kobs, Elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, Defassa waterbucks and warthogs in add this park is a home to 612 bird species, after the drive you'll head back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare to go for the boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda Kobs, as well as bird species like Kingfishers and African fish eagle, can be spotted.

You'll have breakfast and check out of the lodge heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda’s mountain gorillas’ capital) through the spectacular savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. And the small towns of Uganda, have lunch stop over on the way, later check in the lodge.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have an early breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a pre-tracking briefing at 7:00 am. Later embark in the jungles to track the adorable mountain gorillas in their natural habitat characterized by thick forests covered by mist. Once sighted, you will be required to spend only one hour with the allocated gorilla family while studying their behavior and taking photos then proceed to the lodge to relax. Suppose time allows or in case you are still energetic you will continue for a cultural walk to Batwa villages to be immersed in their ancient lifestyles and be entertained by their traditional dances.

This was my second trip with sankofa for 21 days and they have proven trustworthy, knowledgeable of what they do and are professional. The team is led by a young man "Mr Sam", his an ambitious and a to do man. Have felt with him for 21 days in my last trip and has been amazing and very supportive, all things went as planned, my gadgets were safe from the start to the finish of the travel, my family had an amazing company as well by his team of tour guides. 5.00The end of year 2024 found me in Kampala wondering how to get into the right vibes for 2025 until a friend recommended us about sankofa tours and indeed it was a game changer. They have a good team which prepared us our package coverage for 5 days to show case Ugandaz beauty and treasures. We started in Queen Elizabeth where we saw the mist in the falls a relaxing sound of the falls and yes the boat cruiz. After we got our journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest to track the big boys (gorillas) in their natural habitat this was fun yet exercising. The mabere ga nyina mwiruu in Kasese was a story listening place where the Bachwezi resided. A great thanks to sankofa team.

5.00Bwindi impenetrable is a good trekking environment. Sankofa Afrika led our team of 5 to this adventurous journey of four days. After Bwindi Murchison falls wasn't ready where we surfed om the water and all was fun. Yes I highly recommend Sankofa they understand this game of tourism. The four days we spent are unforgettable.

5.00From dusk till down tourism is a stress killer, the nature walks and Gollira trekking in Bwind, the boat cruise at Murchison falls, Ziwa sanctuary in Nakasongola, Karuma Bridge visit to Para were all bangers that brought us to commending Sankofa Afrika tours and travel. This team made things easier than B4, infact it became my most treasured trip since. The wild knowledge they showed, hospitality and the passion for what they do is wat makes them exceptional the 21 days were really life renewing and worthy the resources.
