Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The conservation area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, an arm of the Tanzanian government, and its boundaries follow the boundary of the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.
Ngorongoro Crater
The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 metres (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The crater floor is 1,800 metres (5,900 feet) above sea level. The crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in Arusha, Tanzania in February 2013. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago.

Olduvai Gorge
The Olduvai Gorge or Oldupai Gorge in Tanzania is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world; it has proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution. A steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley that stretches across East Africa, it is about 48 km (30 mi) long, and is located in the eastern Serengeti Plains in the Arusha Region about 45 kilometres (28 miles) from Laetoli, another important archaeological site of early human occupation. The British/Kenyan paleoanthropologist-archeologist team Mary and Louis Leakey established and developed the excavation and research programs at Olduvai Gorge which achieved great advances of human knowledge and world-renowned status.

It was a comprehensive program, quite educative. My family and I learnt a lot about Tanzania's cultural diversity and wildlife. What a beautiful country Tanzania is. Mr. Hoti, who then travelled with my parents, made everything about this trip special. He picked very beautiful lodges for our stay and ran the whole trip in a very smooth way. We really enjoyed and especially the kids coming to Africa for their first time. A very special thank you to Allday in Africa and the whole team for having us and making our trip absolutely spectacular and unforgettable.

We started our 9 day trip to the wildlife in a very fashionable manner. Hoti, our tour leader was just excellent. We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport at night and the whole team was waiting for me and my family. The treat they gave us on arrival made us feel like we just landed at a home away from home. We were given an amazing briefing and got really excited for the whole tour. Tanzania is so beautiful. We were really blown away by the number of animals species and birds that we were able to see during our game, all in their natural habitat along with the beautiful landscape of the country. The Ngorongoro crater was an absolute wonder. We have surely never seen anything like that before. We also liked the migration of animals that we saw in Serengeti, with all the big 5 as they had promised us to see and the Maasai that were so humble to introduce their culture to us. I wanted luxury to celebrate my wedding anniversary for my wife with the kids, this time in Africa and they gave us exactly that. The accommodation was above our expectations, though they were changes a bit because of availability this time of the pandemic but everything was beautiful. We spent 9 days but they made us wanted to spend even more time. Thank you so much for a lifetime tour that you gave us… we will never forget how you guys made us feel at home. Hopefully see you guys in the near future, greetings from Ahmed, Aisha, Ali and Rahma.
