We are a team of professional guides in the ancient and beautiful city of Samarkand.
Itinerary:
The Gur-Emir Mausoleum is the burial place of Tamerlane and his descendants. You will hear related facts and legends.
Registan Square is a visiting card of Samarkand. I will tell you about the magnificent mosques and madrasahs located in it.
Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque - You will admire its sky-blue dome and arch the size of the Milky Way.
Hazrat Khizr Mosque was reconstructed in the 19th century, replacing the one destroyed in the 13th century. The original mosque on this site dates back to the 8th century.
The memorial complex Shakhi-Zinda is one of the mysterious architectural monuments of Samarkand. It is believed that this is where the grave of Kusam ibn Abbas, an associate of the Prophet Muhammad himself, is located.

Gur Emir Mausoleum
Amir Timur and his beloved grandchildren Muhammad Sultan, Ulugbek and other family members are buried here. I will tell you about the architectural solutions of this place, about the affairs and fate of Timur and about the interior decoration of the tomb - I’m sure you will be captivated by the “starry sky”! We will see from inside!
Registan
In the 15th-17th centuries it was the educational and spiritual center of the city. You will examine in detail the madrassas located on it: Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tallyakari. And I will share the features of the brilliant architecture of the Timurid era. You will imagine the times when these buildings served as religious schools and scientific centers, “read” the plots of the facades and simply enjoy the beauty of the complex. We will see from outside!

4.00Our guide Javlonbek was ind and enthusiastic and led us to the discovery of Samarkand. He had prepared material about the sites, for example with pictures showing them before the renovations, and allowed us a relaxed pace to take pictures. He also did a bit extra and accompanied us an additional site. His English is moderate and it was not always straightforward to ask questions, but he's very motivated to improve and with some help from apps you can understand each other well. Thank you!

5.00This was a great and informative tour on the history of the conqueror Amir Temur and the Samarkand. Our guide Fayoziddin made sure to it engaging and interesting. Do cater additional time to visit the sights in depth yourself with your new found knowledge as this tour will not bring you into the sights.

5.00We had a great experience exploring Samarkand with Fayoziddin our Tour Guide. He was very kind, knowledgable and spoke pretty good english. He was talking care that we enjoyed the tour, so He took us inside a warm cafe along the way where we had Chai and some local sweets and escaped the rain and the cold for some time. At each place we had enough time to explore, take pictures and ask questions. Highly recommended!!!

4.00Fayoziddin was our tour guide at Samarkand in December 2025. We were late for the tour but he guided us where to come. He has a good insight into the history and culture. The first statment he said was, 'I am stating facts and not giving my opinion. You may agree or disagree. Please feel free to openly discuss.' The statement won our heart. He walked his statement through out the entire tour. You can trust this guy and book your tour.

5.00It's great one-day walking tour covering all the must-seen places in teh old town of Samarkand. We spent around 3 hours and made 5 stops. The most notable ones were Gur-Emir Mausoleum and Shakhi-Zinda historical cemetery. Our guide, Laziz, was very friendly and knowledgable. Highly recomended to start discovering Smarkand with this tour. The price is more than affordable.
