We will travel by bus from Punta Cana to our historic Santo Domingo place. Upon arrival we will begin to tour our historical places such as our three-eye national park as we travel through its 3 lagoons of crystalline waters, we will pause where we will have lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the area, then we will continue to a panoramic view through the modern sound from Santo Domingo among them the presidential palace Then the tour will continue through the area of Colonia, Alcazar de Colon, museums,

historic center of the city, where the oldest buildings in the country were located. In a colorful and picturesque little house in the area, lived a grandmother named Esperanza. She had been born and raised in this beautiful colonial area and knew every corner of its narrow cobblestone streets. Esperanza used to tell stories to the children of the town about times gone by, when Santo Domingo was the first city founded by the Spaniards in America. Her stories filled everyone who listened with emotion and amazement. One summer afternoon, Grandma Esperanza decided to take the children on an imaginary journey into the past. She took them to the Plaza de España, the heart of the Colonial Zone, where the Alcázar de Colón, the former residence of the family of the discoverer Christopher Columbus, was located.

Great hotel with access to the Palace!

5.00We were at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach from 8 to 15 January 2026 1700/ person approximately. Block 5, 3 rd floor, superior room, large (the bathroom cleaning (the dirty bath and not rubbed but it is our filthy hahah) comfortable bed. The prote separating the bathroom from the bedroom cuts off the sound so nothing heard in the corridor. Everything was perfect!! Clean, quiet place (a little too much) No music, just at times during activities. Access to the Bavaro Palace which is bigger bcp and WOW very large and luxurious! The showroom is breathtaking!! We went a few times a day to change the place sickness (8 min. walking by the beach about according to walking speed:) Bcp people on the square at this place. We preferred the Beach for space and the fact that it is adult only! Beautiful white sandy beach, easy to walk, no waves at our passage and beautiful sunny week! Chairs available at the beach (we went there around 9am and always had the same spot! No sellers on the beach around the springs near us so nice to walk there. The pool is large and clean unlike the Palace pool (the main one where there is the bar in the water) which is jammed. But the others are clear! Small interesting train to get from one to the other and visit the facilities. Buffet: we just finished eating well! Resto, a little disappointing but correct! The fruit is exquisite! When applying for something (e.g. extra blanket water, toilet paper... You have it in the next few minutes or during the day! In the evening we went to the shows at the Palace, it's huge (we were impressed by the acrobats) Often around 10am which gives time for dinner late! 11am everything is over (pu music) A little too soon in my opinion...
