To top it off, this is a fully private tour so you won't share a van/bus and you'll have the tour guide just for you. Thus, the visits at the castles and the whole day will be a more personal and enjoyable experience.

NEW: Peles Castle will be closed from November 3rd until December 2nd for general cleaning and preventive conservation
IMPORTANT: Castle entrance fees are not included – 100 RON (approx. €20) for Peleș Castle and 90 RON (approx. €17) for Bran Castle. Tickets can be purchased either on-site or online. We strongly recommend buying them online to ensure availability and reduce waiting time at the entrance. Once you book the tour, we will send you a link from where you may purchase the tickets.
The interior of Peleș Palace is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, you can still visit the inner courtyard, royal gardens, servant quarters, and other exterior areas.
Inside Bran Castle, there are several steps and a narrow corridor that may be difficult for visitors with limited mobility.

First stop? Go royal! Step into the shoes of kings & queens and explore Peles Palace, the former private retreat of Romania’s royal family. The beautiful mountain scenery and elegant gardens built on terraces add even more charm to this majestic 19th century palace. Inside, everything spells luxury: golden chandeliers, walnut tree carvings, marble fountains, secret chambers and a royal armory. Your private guide will offer a fully guided tour at the site. 4.00Mihai is a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide who, in addition to his specific knowledge, also has a general and spatial interest in the history and political events in Romania and can tell very interesting stories about it. We had planned a trip to Bran Castle (Dracula), to Brasov and Peles Castle. Due to the expected crowds, we had decided to skip Bran Castle so that we would definitely be able to visit Peles Castle when we returned. Our guide kept a close eye on the traffic but due to the hectic conditions on the road and unforeseen circumstances we were unfortunately too late to see the Peles castle inside, which was a disappointment. A golden tip, don't plan that trip during the 'halloween madness' because the roads to those castles are only then the real hell on earth and unfortunately not a fantasy. Greetings to our guide and don't let it touch your heart...the Mood on the bus was good also thanks to your stories, knowledge, driving skills and patience.

5.00I am so impressed and grateful to have gone on this tour with Mihai. It was a beautiful day, we had no traffic and it was absolutely gorgeous. The best part was all of the information and great conversation with Mihai. I really got to understand who King Carol was, what Brasov was about and appreciated Queen Maria and her stay at Bran even more than the story of Dracula. It was beyond my expectations and I learned so much about Romania, Transylvania and the history. It is such a beautiful country and it matters so much to go with someone who is both knowledgeable and looks out for their guests l. I honestly cannot thank or recommend this tour enough. Mihai even took his time to give me a full itinerary for a free day I had and I am so glad I took his suggestions. I got to see and dine in amazing hidden gems.

5.00Visited late September 2018 but just found that my original review wasn't listed on the Viator site I booked it through. This was a brilliant tour from start to finish. Mihai was our guide. He was brilliant. His knowledge of Romania is amazing. We were picked up on time. We visited Peles Palas, Bran Castle and then Brasov. I can highly recommend this tour. I'd do it again without any hesitation.

5.00This is a fantastic way to see the Peles Palace and Bran Castle. Michael, our private tour guide was a wealth if information! We enjoyed every minute. The other great part was the sun was out all day!!! It was just beautiful! I would highly recommend this day trip for anyone wishing to hear the history and see the sights of this particular area.
