Entertainment activities:- During the holy month of Ramadan (21 March - 20 April 2023) you can watch Tanoura only in our desert camps. Other religious holidays as per UAE law i.e. 3rd April, 10 & 31st Aug, 9th Nov etc there will not be any entertainment activities in the camps as its strictly not permitted by UAE law.
By UAE law, pregnant ladies, people with Heart & back problems, and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. ( If these conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)

Pick-up available from your Abu Dhabi City Central hotels & cruise port, Airport pick up is from Premier inn Abu Dhabi Airport hotel.

Meet our expert safari guide at your selected location or hotel. After the pickup, we will drive you to the Abu Dhabi Desert in a modern, air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle to kickstart your safari packed with real thrills and excitement. As the necessary preparations are carried out, including adjusting tire pressures and catching up with the convoy, we'll visit a camel farm where you can get up close to these animals well-adjusted to desert life. Soon, you'll step into your 4x4 vehicle to embark on a thrilling session of dune bashing. Traverse the desert with excitement and conquer one dune after another, feeling your heart race as you ascend and descend the highest sand dunes. If your thirst for thrills remains unquenched, you can surf through the soft sands of the desert. After experiencing the exhilaration of the desert, you might even catch a glimpse of the sunset before heading to the campsite.

A warm welcome awaits you at the camp. Take a moment to rest and savor traditional coffee and dates at the campsite. Experience the ambiance of a Bedouin as you relax within the encampment, adorned with low-lying tables and Arabic cushions. Engage in activities such as Henna painting and Shisha smoking. Following this, embark on a brief camel ride to witness the desert's beauty as dusk approaches. And then, it's time to do the traditional Arabic attire! Watch captivating performances of Tanoura dancing and belly dancing, as you relish a BBQ dinner featuring an array of delectable cuisines. Arabian Kebabs, alongside various Arabic salads, desserts, and main courses, the dinner promises a lavish culinary experience. 5.00The correspondence through viator to me and the driver was useless (viator fault ) went 1.5 hrs late ..no messages 🤬.....but when did get picked up it was a brilliant experience.... hopefully this was just a 1 off .....but I'd had bad experience with viator on a previous trip ..... so you decide ? ...but great trip 👌

5.00All I can say is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! We were unsure whether to do this trip due to the crazy heat however, there was not one bit of regret! From the journey there to getting back to our hotel the time we had was incredible . Aziz was our guide and he was amazing. Very helpful, good English, nothing was too much and he is an asset to the team at ocean air travels. We did quad biking , dune bashing, sandboarding, sunset spot in the dunes for pictures , bbq , falconry show, horse show, fire show and camel riding. We were unsure if this was all going to be included in the price however EVERYTHING WAS! the only thing we brought was the head scarves which I’m glad we did as when quad biking it was very dusty. DO NOT DROP ANYTHING as you will lose it 😂 the food was so good, so many options and very fresh. Would definitly recommend and thank you once again to AZIZ for making our experience so good:)

5.00I'm an avid off-roader in the U.S. but wanted to experience the sand dunes in the UAE. The booking experience was easy and the booking through trip advisor was easy. The desert safari was exactly as advertised. My driver, Shine Davis was prompt and on time picking me up at my hotel on Yas Island A.D. The drive in the dunes was a lot of fun, the sand boarding wasn't for me, but it appeared others was enjoying it and the camp set up was really nice and the BBQ & show was fantastic. What a great way to experience Abu Dhabi! The weather was a little warm, if it wasn't for travelling back home I would have rather done this in the cooler months. I highly recommend this excursion.

5.00There were few camel tours from Abu Dhabi, but I booked this one, which seemed to have plenty of rice and service. The driver's guide was very kind and took many photos of me travelling alone. They suggested so many things that I was able to experience so many services and events. It was all very fun. The desert was windy, so sunglasses were essential. Still, sand came in from the side. I also wore a mask occasionally. I hear people say sandals don’t bother them more, but when I ran up the sand after I got off the hill on my surfboard, I really felt good about wearing sneakers. The last email also says athletic shoes, so it's best to follow. I took some sobriety pills, but I didn't drink them. As the sun was rising, I was able to ride a camel, so I was very happy with the camel photos.

5.00This was the greatest excursion possible during our layover in Abu Dhabi. Our guide Thahzeer went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. Every portion of the excursion was super fun and exceeded expectations. The dinner and evening show…….incredible. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi.

5.00Yesterday, we (2 adults, 2 children aged 11 and 16) concluded our stay in Abu Dhabi with the desert safari described here. The evening before, the organizer contacted us very kindly via WhatsApp and informed us about the pick-up procedure at our hotel, as well as clothing instructions and valuables. On the morning of the trip, the driver contacted us again via WhatsApp. Both of these things gave us a good feeling that everyone involved was aware of the upcoming trip and nothing could go wrong. The pick-up worked perfectly and was very punctual at 4:00 p.m. The other two participants had already been picked up from their hotels. At the beginning of the trip, the driver informed us about the schedule and the program. With a group of 12 to 15 vehicles, we deflated the tires and drove into the desert at a brisk pace with appropriate Arabic music. The extensive dune bashing was very exciting, and the driver demonstrated his expert knowledge of this terrain. The photo stop with camels and sandboarding at sunset were further highlights. Finally, we arrived at a very luxurious and beautiful camp in the middle of the desert. The show was very entertaining, and there was an unlimited supply of free, non-alcoholic drinks. Guests could also take pictures in Arabic dress or with falcons. Outside the camp, a camel ride was offered against a beautiful backdrop. Guests could also get a henna tattoo or smoke a shisha pipe. The buffet was very extensive and varied, offering something for everyone and presented in a very beautiful and hygienic manner. Everyone involved (OceanAir, drivers, camp staff) made the event a fantastic experience! The return journey to Abu Dhabi started around 9:30 p.m. and took about an hour. Conclusion: All in all, the desert safari was an absolutely perfect conclusion to our trip and, for the price, highly recommended.
