Pick-up available from your Abu Dhabi City Central hotels & cruise port, Airport pick up is from Premier inn Abu Dhabi Airport hotel.

Get ready for a 4-hours desert safari starting with morning pick-up at your hotel. A 45-minute drive takes you to the heart of the desert outside Abu Dhabi. Explore the desert in a 4x4 vehicle, bashing the huge dunes. The fun continues with a chance to try out sandboarding. Follow the instructions and glide over the dunes as you see how simple it really is. During the safari there will be plenty of opportunity to pose for some photos in the desert. Your friendly driver will help you with that. This special morning safari concludes with a short camel ride before the transfer back to the pick-up point

5.00We had an absolutely amazing time on our morning desert safari in Abu Dhabi! Our driver and guide, Thaj, was fantastic — he arrived right on time at our hotel and made the whole experience smooth, safe, and so much fun. The drive to the desert took about an hour, but it was very comfortable in the Toyota Highlander (which even had a roll bar cage for extra safety). The AC was running the whole time, so we stayed cool despite the desert heat. Once we reached the dunes, the real adventure began! The dune bashing was thrilling — drifting and gliding over the sand was easily one of the highlights of our entire Abu Dhabi trip. The vastness and quiet beauty of the desert were just breathtaking. We also got to ride camels and try sandboarding down the dunes with our kids — such a fun and unforgettable experience for the whole family! Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi or Dubai. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and family fun — and having Thaj as our guide made it all the more special!

5.00Excellent experience. Our driver Tyhahzeer was amazing. He was extremely patient and respectful when another passenger arrived late and inebriated. He made sure that the rest of us were not uncomfortable. But on the desert, he was a blast! Lots of thrills! I was also impressed with how organized he was while making sure we were able to do all of the activities we wanted but in a fashion that kept the trip moving. OceanAir Travels did an excellent job. I would definitely go again.

5.00Our positive experience with OceanAir started when I tried to book with them and our hotel wasn’t listed for pick-up. I got in touch directly and they were really helpful in securing our trip from our hotel and emailing through the booking, all taking about five minutes to complete. We were picked up from our hotel by Imran in his 4x4, which was immaculate, and had a roll-cage making us all feel very safe. We had opted for a private car with our two kids (11 and 13). We headed out into the desert, stopping at a service station for a comfort break and to meet the rest of the cars before heading into the desert. As we arrived at the edge of the desert, the drivers dropped the tyre pressure and we kicked off with some very exhilarating driving over the sand dunes before we were stopped short with a puncture on our car. This gave the whole group a chance to take in the scenery whilst Imran and his colleagues expertly replaced the tyre on the soft sand and we set off again for more dune bashing. This was soooo much fun, with stomach drops and nail biting moments to rival Ferrari world. We had a brief stop for some successful and less successful dune surfing and carried on driving over the dunes. Imran has been driving off road for over 15 years on sand and snow, and made us feel very safe. We then headed to a Bedouin camp for a short camel ride, and another rest break whilst the car tires were inflated again and the worst of the sand was removed from the cars. The whole trip took around four hours with the biggest chunk of time given to the dune bashing which was an absolute winner. I highly recommend OceanAirTravels and would use them again on any return trip.
