5.00Our day trip Guide to Abu Dhabi, Farhan, had excellent communication. His English was very good and he was a wealth of knowledge about all things Abu Dhabi, old and new. He picked us up at our hotel in Dubai right on time and was courteous and thoughtful when we adjusted the tour sites and schedule to suite our needs. He did explain that about the driving in the UAE and that the drivers were Very Aggressive, but he was not driving as aggressively as usual. That may be fine for him but for us from the USA it was still Too Much. The following of the cars within one or two car lengths traveling on the highway at 135 kph speed and the honking of the horn to get them to move out of the way; he must have slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting the car ahead half a dozen times. A little mellower drive and we would have arrived back at our Dubai hotel a bit more relaxed. But we did get an education!
