We waited for a while waiting for our tickets. No one from the tour agency came to give us our entrance tickets to the gallery. We asked the doorman at the gallery and we were informed that entrance is free on the first Sunday of each month. I was charged $133 and some cents for the entrance tickets for 3 adults.

Great way to cruise into the museum, see the highlights along the way and then have all of the time youd like on your own to explore. Galya was an excellent guide with a perfect balance of information and levity.

Our tour guide was Gayla and we very much enjoyed her passion about David, Michelangelo, Florence, and Italy. She provided us with just the right amount of info so that we didn’t feel overwhelmed or left with questions. Personally enjoyed the musical instruments section as well - unexpected. Gayla even helped us with taking pictures from the right angle which can always be a challenge. She was pleasant and made the tour interesting and fun!

Ana from the traveler tours was entertaining and informative. If you are only going to see one sculpture in your life, you should make it the David. Pictures do not do it justice. We did it all in Florence, and this is what impressed us the most.

The tickets were not handed over to us at 445 despite reaching the meeting point where it was being dispensed. We were given the tickets at 5 pm and had to walk over to the museum entrance. So by the time we got to the line, it was quite long and we entered the museum much later. It’s frustrating if one is on time and things aren’t optimised. Tourists are usually on a tight schedule so every bit matters.

This was easy and worth it. It was briefly confusing to find the meeting point (the area is crowded - which is why reserving in advance makes sense!), but it was soon obvious where to go and they took great care of us.
