National Museum of Ethiopia

Ethiopia’s National Museum is the country’s premier museum, showcasing its rich artistic and cultural heritage. The museum features four main sections, the most famous being the Paleontological exhibit, home to *Lucy* (or *Dinkinesh* in Amharic, meaning "wonderful"). This 3.5-million-year-old fossil of *Australopithecus afarensis*, discovered in 1974 in Hadar, Afar, revolutionized our understanding of human evolution. The first floor displays ancient and medieval artifacts, including royal regalia and memorabilia from former rulers like Emperor Haile Selassie. Soddo Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Trinity

The Holy Trinity Cathedral, also known as *Kidist Selassie*, is one of Ethiopia's most significant religious landmarks. Located in the heart of Addis Ababa, it serves as the primary cathedral of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Built during Emperor Haile Selassie's reign and completed in 1942, the cathedral is a stunning blend of traditional Ethiopian and European architectural styles.
