You are invited to enter a playground of plague with a smatter of splatter, and a chance to poke into our medical past. The museum is self guided and walks you through doors and corridors to reveal history, science and medicine from the past and also for the future. Although some elements of the ‘museum’ will appeal to children, for adults it might not be a good way to spend time in Chester. The lighting, in parts, makes it difficult to read the information displayed and many of the exhibits are a bit grubby and not in great condition.

I went in with my 13 year old granson. The 'smell this' items were a experience. Plenty of information charts.
